Do you think that, after nearly 70 years and despite being very grateful for what the US has done, Europeans might be allowed to have a measure of independence now?

I agree, well, I wouldn’t normally even say that or should I say I never would. I can not judge others but in all facets, I try not to be “arrogant”.

That’s a cool avatar, our neighbour is from Scotland, he has a family, in fact, he is a Reverend for some sort of Protestant church and anyway, they have a rabbit, lovely pet, keep it in a cage outside, anyway, one day somehow a dog, a rather tame breed, labrador was tearing down the cage and in fact, tore it open so, no worry, happy ending, the rabbit was saved, I had to run over there and chase the dog off.
 
We are a brotherhood of nation and peoples people! Remember what has happened but be respectful of all, we are suppose to be Christians after all. I would not say things ever as to what you are addressing.

It is nothing to be arrogant about, I had relatives who fought in World War II, fought in the South Pacific, I think it kind of messed him up psychologically, battles like Guadalcanal were so bad.

So I’d respect what our veterans did and how they looked at it. I had some friend, colleague, he fought in Vietnam but he didn’t hold grudges after the war.

But you blokes had the second one while still on probation for the first one. It’s not like we sent a bunch of oldsters and criminals over there… both times we sent our prime 18-year old lads. Kids with futures.

Nothing was conveniently airbrushed out from Hollywood, that must be about 4000 miles away from Moscow. There are movies from England about World War II, do you expect them to be about Russia too?
 
Perhaps you can show an example of a Russian film showing American forces.
 
We are talking about movies, British war movies, “Battle of Britain”, “Escape to Victory”, no Russians to be seen.

How about a Russian film showing them massacring thousands of Polish officers? Or a Russian film showing the Holodomor? Or a Russian film showing the largest mass rape in the history of the world, when the Satanic Red Army raped virtually every girl age 9 and over in East Prussia and parts of Hungary… little girls getting gang raped by Soviet Satanists and then having their breasts cut off and being chained to cars and pulled apart. Or maybe we should stick to making movies about the heroes, who acted morally and served God. On second thought I prefer that idea. Let us refrain from honoring the demonic. Making a movie honoring the Soviet Union would be like making a movie honor Nazi Germany.

I think that is a good idea. We should start with closing all the US military bases there. Perhaps its time Europe defended themselves.

The government of the Soviet Union was evil. Atheistic communism was satanic. How else would you describe the massacring of millions by Stalin? Or the millions massacred by Mao? Pol Pot? That doesn’t seem bombastic to me. Some in the Soviet army might have fought valiantly and bravely against the Nazis. But they were still the army of an evil regime.
