I don’t know whether the use of the term “ejaculation” was deliberate or not.

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that it was a mistake, in which case you should probably contact the mods and see about having the thread title changed.

Maybe it was a case of “auto-correct” from a mobile device. A quick glance at his profile doesn’t shown any bad behavior. Hopefully the mods catch it before long.

“You’ve got the wrong definition!” he ejaculated.

I’m not buying it.
“Not buying what?” he ejaculated.

**Definition: **An ejaculation, sometimes called an aspiration, is a short prayer meant to be memorized and repeated throughout the day. In this way, we can heed Saint Paul’s injunction to “Pray without ceasing” and continually turn our thoughts toward God.

I’ve even heard of protestants using the ejaculatory prayer, “Jesus take the wheel”

My favorite is the words of the Good Thief on the cross:

Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

I’m fond of that. I’m used to it from the local benedictine abbeys Palm Sunday liturgy.

Thy cross and passion we adore,
and resurrection evermore!
So now we raise our voice on high,
as with Adam and the thief we cry:
“When in thy kingdom thou shalt be
redeeming king, remember me!”

I can’t put into words how powerful that sounds when chanted by an expert schola in a awe inspiring baroque church with excellent acoustics and a pipe organ significally larger than my house playing as they sing. The abbey church is seen in this video: saintjosephabbey.com/vocations.php

One of my favorites is, “Tuus totus ego sum, et omnia mea tua sunt.”

“May the all powerful Lord grant us a restful night and a peaceful death”

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.

When pain is exquisite…My Jesus Mercy!

or

Jesus.

Peace

This thread has me in stitches. Just goes to show how unconsciously sexualized we have become. Sad in a way isn’t it. Teaches some not to come too
early to conclusions.
