- “For Frodo” From LOTR: ROTK
- “I will…Never be a memory” from FFVII: Advent Children

“Hey, look! It’s Enrico Pallazzo!”“The Naked Gun” - Frank Drebin impersonates an opera singer and murders the national anthem at an Angels game, and then impersonates the home plate umpire.
yeah, that’s right, and then the crowd breaks into the chant “En-RI-co Pal-LAZ-zo - En-RI-co Pal-LAZ-zo”“Hey, look! It’s Enrico Pallazzo!”
Brilliant scenes!! It tugs at my heartstrings every time I see the silver candlesticks remain in Valjean’s life right to the end… and nobody better to play the Bishop that Colm Wilkinson!LES MISERABLES (2012):
Who Am I? - when Valjean agonizes over turning himself in to spare an innocent man’s arrest.
Suddenly… the stagecoach ride just after Valjean adopts the child Cosette
The Finale - when Fantine and the Bishop come to sing Valjean into heaven.
‘Puny god.’The scene in Thor when Loki confronts Odin. The look on Loki’s face and the way his voice breaks and he almost chokes on his tears. And later when Loki falls off the Bifrost.
And from the Avengers:
Loki: “Ooh. It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power. Unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is.”
As Nick Fury walks away, “Well, let me know if ‘real power’ wants a magazine or something.”
Thor: The Dark World opens today. In case anyone is interested. I can’t wait to see Jane smack Loki. I hope it’s actually in the film and not a “deleted scene.”
I also love that one!Not my personal fave, but classic, from A Few Good Men:
“You can’t handle the truth!”
Star Wars 5 - The Empire Strikes Back - the reveal moment (when Vader says Luke "No. I am your father.)! Boombastic!“Young Frankenstein” - the “Puttin’ on the Ritz” scene
It was mentioned previously but, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” - the three-way standoff at the end.
“Raiders of the Lost Ark” - an enemy is brandishing a scimitar and showing off his fancy moves, and Indiana Jones just pulls out his revolver and shoots him.
“The Empire Strikes Back” - the scene with Luke & Vader on the catwalk
“The Naked Gun” - Frank Drebin impersonates an opera singer and murders the national anthem at an Angels game, and then impersonates the home plate umpire.
Jeff Bridges was great in that scene.One-eyed Rooster Cogburn charging at Lucky Ned Pepper and his gang, reins in his teeth, two six-shooters blazing! YeeeeHawwww! True Grit.![]()
