I have to admit that I really like the group Tool especially the song “Schism”.

Hollywood Nights is my favorite Bob Seger song. It brings me back to my high school days.

@spiderweb I really like Aenema by Tool. The lead singer Maynard lives in a nearby town to me. He has wineries, all sorts of stuff.

Some of my favorite rock / metal songs are:
Dio - The Last in Line, Rainbow in the Dark, The Eyes
Blue Oyster Cult - Don’t Fear the Reaper, Veteran of the Psychic Wars
Blind Guardian - At the Edge of Time
Iced Earth - Melancholy
Woods of Ypres - Travelling Alone
Demon HUnter - My Heartstrings Come Undone
Theocracy - I AM

It changes all the time, but right now it’s ‘All right now’ by Free.

That Manowar song said “Gods” in it, but just think of it as he’s making a Viking reference to the Holy Trinity… kinda my “Prayer Warriors of the World” song. Tune it how you like it and you won’t have to buy into that “it’s evil” stuff. If people think a word makes it evil, change the word to “they’re worshipping God”

I cannot think of Fleetwood Mac anymore without thinking of the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie, keep in mind I’ve been listening to them my whole life.

Because I kind of like this thread, I was thinking about the Smashing Pumpkins, because I was listening to them. I really like the album Siamese Dream. I really like 90s alternative rock. Anyway, there’s a story behind that, has to do with the girl, long story. Keep rocking out y’all. I like this thread, because there’s really no wrong answer.

It always has to do with a girl, doesn’t it? Lol, I feel ya bro, I have a lot of songs like that too.

This thread has given me more songs to listen too. Thanks to you all!

My wife and I went to see Coldplay for our anniversary. My First rock concert since about 1987. Great experience.

Some of my favorite songs of the past have 3 things in common:
  1. Glam Metal
  2. Great music
  3. Terrible lyrics
Frustrating…

Motley Crue - “Wild Side”
Van Halen - “Mean Street”
Winger - “Seventeen”
Great White - “Rock Me” (full version)
Night Ranger - “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”

I could go on and on…
