Does anyone else multiple rosaries but prefer one? I own several, but I always use the same one.

Also, what is everyone’s favorite rosary? Mine is a WWI Battle Bead Rosary. It is modeled off of the style that was given to American Service members during the First World War.

My picture is what it looks like for those that are interested.

It’s funny, but I am a cradle Catholic who recently came back home to our Lord. Immediately after giving myself entirely to our faith, rosaries started coming out of the woodwork at home! I mean really I’ve found maybe 10 that I didn’t know I had. Even better, my daughter has a pink rosary that we keep in her room. My wife is pregnant (praise be to God) and a week before the appointment to find out the gender, out of nowhere we found the same rosary that my daughter has, like EXACT same, but in blue somewhere buried in our closet. So I guess the answer to the question, is every rosary I’ve found since coming home is my favourite rosary!
 
My godmother made me my rosary. She gave it to me the day I was initiated (all three Sacraments!) into the Church. The beads have enough space between them to fit a finger, and can fit in my pocket.

I make rosaries. Mostly natural stone and crystals. I used to make all the Graduation rosaries for the Catholic High School my girls went to, but they didn’t want to pay the very low price I was charging (which was essentially at cost).

I wear a solid gold rosary around my neck, but have a new peal rosary from the Fatima Anniversary celebration, and one of those St. Benedict combat rosaries with the St. Michael medal attached, a couple of “blessed by the Pope” ones, one that all miraculous medals for beads, and various other ones that I made that just look cool.
I’ll take a picture when I get home and edit this post. Oh, and I have a Navajo Turquoise rosary somewhere in my jewelry box.
I mostly pray on the gold one. In bed I use the combat rosary so it won’t break.
 
You can get it from that website. Read the history on the WWI rosary. It may change your mind
 
You wear one? I was always told not to wear them? Is that a regional thing to not wear them?

Hispanics wear them. My pastor said it was fine as long as it was under my clothes and not considered “bling”.
 
Two favorites: One was given to me by a co-worker in hospice as she lay dying of cancer. We prayed her last Rosary and she gave it to me, saying “We have to pass these on.” So that her hands would not be empty at the Lord’s call, I gave her my olive wood Jerusalem Rosary, expecting it to be buried with her. At her funeral, her daughter gave it back to me. What you abandon to God, He will repay!

Second, but more used, is one which has water from the river Jordan in the centerpiece. When I am at adoration (Thursdays here), I pray the Luminous Mysteries before our Lord. It struck me that the water of the Jordan is present, Christ is present and my Patron, Saint John the Baptist is also present. In a mystical sense, I am there on the bank of the Jordan. The Mystery of our Lord’s Baptism brings tears.

I love my Rugged Rosary, but my beads are losing all the finish since I carry it in my pocket every day. I’m going to get a new metal one for Lent and make that my daily carry rosary.
 
Here’s the one I carry and use. It’s also in the style of the combat/military rosaries, which I like for being durable and utilitarian. It came with a Pardon Crucifix, but I swapped that out for my St. Benedict Crucifix.

The Our Father beads on mine are carved, but other than that it looks just like this. It’s sterling silver with black cocoa beads. I have another one just like it except made out of olive wood, but I like the one with black beads more.
 
I love rosaries! I have so many now that I feel a little bit bad at buying any more. But I do love them.

Years before I joined the church, I stopped at a yard sale one day, and the lady hosting it was a very nice Catholic lady who was selling a bunch that had been given to her as gifts. One was a beautiful crystal one from Lourdes, and I just felt pulled to it. I used to hold it or carry it around with me whenever I was upset or stressed.

I got a lovely one at Czestochowa when I was at WYD, which feels incredibly comfortable in my hands. I got another last fall when I was in our local Catholic gifts store and just kept returning to look at and pick up this one rosary. There wasn’t another like it in the store, so I decided that there must be a reason I kept going back to it.

I just got one of the Fatima pearl rosaries too.

Plus I have a couple of bracelets.

I really love the rosary.
 
Yes, I 've more than one rosary. I have my favorite which is made of round, black, coco beads that are carved. My mother made it for me out of sterling silver for my first communion. Like a good Catholic boy, I carried it with me where ever I went. Unfortunately I lost it and it took me since I was 10 years old until I was in my thirties to come up with the exact parts to make a new one. I now have it on file for my burial.
I also make rosaries which is why I have more than one. I give them to people who don’t have any or to anyone who wishes to have one. One of the two I use the most is made with marble like glass beads which are green and a crucifix with a skull and crossbones on it. The other is one with the medel of our lady of Mercy on it and saint Peter nolasco who is the founder of our order.

I have a few all given to me, I make a point of never buying one for myself. The one I use every day and carry with me is my favourite; it’s simple dark wood beads on a cord with a wooden cross no crucifix or medal.
It’s was given to me close to three years ago by a woman who was at one point discerning a vocation at a Benedictine convent,
its hand made by some nun as far as I know.

Untill it breaks I’ll continue to to use it.

It’s so funny you say this because this exact thing happened to me too. Check an old coat pocket, found one, clean out a room, find two, go to my sisters house, find one that she never knew about. Probably 6 or 7 in all. It all happened when I converted back…
 
I am always on the hunt for old rosaries, junk jewelry or any batch of beads that will make good rosaries. I especially like to contrast the our father beads with the hail Mary beads. I think they look sharp and are nice to give away.
 
I have a bunch, but my everyday one that gets used the most is this Random Rugged Rosary I got a year ago. (Every now and then Cordbands does a sale and if you’re one of the first X people to order you can get a Random Rosary cheap, they pick one for you.) I decided to get some Rugged Rosaries after the pretty one I have that was blessed by the Pope fell apart in a cathedral while I was saying it. I need Rosaries that don’t break and can go anywhere I go.

This one looks sort of like the “Her Weapon” rosary but was made some months before they came out with it and is slightly different. The skulls are turning copper now from use because the silver coating wears off.
I touched it to all the Padre Pio reliquaries and relics that went on tour, twice, and it now has a medal of Padre Pio on it as well.
