Forgot about that! I love that, too. Makes me cry.

I also love the theme from Brideshead Revisited.

English, of course, Brazilian Portuguese (I’m Brazilian), German, Dutch, French, and Hebrew.

Looks like we have a lot of musical talent here.

I performed on a recording of Handel’s Messiah and had some of my songs on 3 different albums. Even had my photo on one of the albums.

Brazil was colonized by Portugal so they don’t speak Spanish. I did take a class for Spanish, but it was more trying to get good grades than actually learning the language.

I took it in high school, but I wasn’t fond of the class. The teacher was nice, though. A refugee from Cuba. I really liked her, even went to her wedding.

I lived in German Switzerland, so learned German and Swiss-German. Dutch is easy for someone who knows English and German. We spoke Portuguese at home a lot. I have a French grandfather who taught me French, and I sung a lot of opera in French (and in Italian, but I find Italian difficult), and I studied Hebrew formally at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Being multilingual came pretty naturally to me because of my life experience, not any brain power on my part (except the Hebrew; that nearly wore my brain out!).

I tend to like 1930’s style Flapper music.

Here’s the theme from Mrs. Bradley Mysteries

and Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries
