As a teen, of course I listen to rock! The best bands today are Relient K, Green Day, and Simple Plan. For the christian oriented people looking for something for their teenage daughter or son, relient k is the hottest religious band alive today. Check out Sadie Hawkin’s Dance and Pressing on. Be my escape is their smash hit. 🙂

Any rock fans??? There are many bands in the history of rock so I won’t list a poll.

I think some Radiohead and Grandaddy songs are very touching. However a lot of Radiohead and rock music is disturbing. The lyrics and even the music in general could be influenced by fallen angels or ‘ascended masters’ who influence the musicians in ways contrary to Catholic sensibilities

I don’t know too much about the old 80’s rock…I remember my sister listening to Poison and Guns n Roses. Oh, and Metallica, and they’re still awesome today. More clear in my mind though is the alternative stuff, Nirvana and stuff later on from that. Currently my favorites are probably Green Day and I’ve started listening to Seven Sorrows, the Catholic rock band. (at first I was kinda like…eh…christian rock…but they’re pretty good 👍 ).

Jon of Woking,
Radiohead influenced by “fallen angels”? Where would you get that idea? Their music is beautiful. Why, because they are secular?

Jeff Buckley, John Frusciante, Blonde Redhead, Radiohead, these are some of my top choices.

Bon Jovi
Green Day
3 Doors Down
Jimmy Eat World
Default
Creed
Alter Bridge
Yellowcard
Coldplay
U2
Goo Goo Dolls
Lifehouse
My Chemical Romance
Metallica
Van Halen
System of a Down
Crossfade
Foo Fighters
The Mars Volta

No. I said could be. I agree their (Radiohead) music is beautiful as is some of Jeff Buckley. I have seen them several times. I have all their music. However…their lyrics can be disturbing. I do not endorse all their sings and skip teh cd where some sings are too disturbing.Thom Yorke admitted some of his lyrics are disturbing, such as in the song ‘Idioteque’,. Climbing up the walls, and We Suck Young Blood are hard songs to defend e.t.c.

Catholic teaching tells us their is a spiritual war going on between the good angels and the fallen angels. I believe Lucifer and his legions do have influence in much music as they do in the entire 'Entertainment industry.

Incidentally My favorite Radiohead songs are ‘How to Disappear Completely’ and Like Spinning Plates

My favourite rock bands are:

The beatles
Nirvana
Smashing Pumpkins
Foo Fighters
Greenday
Motley Crue
Metallica
Crossfade
H.I.M
Guns n Roses
Red Hot chilli Peppers
Creed
AC/DC
Queens of the stone age
Story of the year
Yellowcard
System of a down and heaps more
GO ROCK MUSIC WHOOT 👍

Their new single is Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been.
It rocks house.

Does anybody know any rock artists on Tooth and Nail Records and Solid State Records?

Any fans of those artists?
