Fear of losing our home

Dear Didi,

“I complained I had no shoes till I saw someone with no legs”, this proverb seems so true and my anxieties seem so meagre compared to yours Didi. I can perfectly understand the trauma you are going through but remember, God sends trials to those who are closest to Him. Perhaps it is his way of cleansing us and presenting us with His plans in alot more better ways. He knows best Didi what he does to us and why. So take courage and don’t give up on HIM. He is just trying out our patience and our love and trust in HIM.

You are included in my prayers and everything will be alot better than what was for you before and you will soon realise the Mighty Lord and his Loving ways. We are His children after all and if we are concerned about our families, just imagine how concerned He is about us as we are His Children and we are all in the palm of His Hands.

I would pray for courage for you to accept the situation placing your trust in Him and before you know, the situation would change for the better. God Bless You always.
 
Thanks again to everyone. My husband has an interview tomorrow (7/17). First one in two months! Your continued prayers are very appreciated. God bless you all.

Praying my heart out for your family Didi. Praying that your husband gets the job!
 
No job yet for my husband. He had another interview and the “overqualified” card came up again. He is thinking of “dumbing down” his resume to get people to consider him. Do you think this is deceitful?

On a good note, we have had several friends from our parish offer us financial assistance, and some people we don’t even know personally step forward to help. It is very humbling. We were able to make our mortgage payment last month; not sure how this month will work out yet but we are so grateful for people’s generosity and selflessness.

It really reminds me again of the 12th Chapter of Corinthians, that we are all one body in Christ, and especially vs. 26: “If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.”

We are also so appreciative of everyone’s prayers during this time. We know they are helping us get through this. God bless you all!

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen
 
Dearest Blessed Mother, wrap your loving mantle around Didi and her family and present them to your Divine Son. Please obtain from Him for her husband a job as soon as possible so that he may support his family, and the continuation of help from their friends and community. May God’s holy will be done in the lives of this family! Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen.
 
You and your husband are being bathed in prayers, Didi!! I’m sorry you’re going through this, and I also pray for you to be healed from your illness. Times can be tough but God is always faithful to keep His promises…and He will provide for you. Please keep us posted.
