And you should quit pestering him about it. He will release them, if he wants, when he wants. All this whining and crying is just a deflection.
I think, however, that it’s obvious that he’s not releasing his returns because he probably has something to hide. Perhaps it’s that he gives less to charity than he says he does or is worth a lot less than he claims or has questionable business interests in places like Russia, etc.

Or its over 12,000 pages and only a tax lawyer can figure out.

It remains the public’s business because Trump continues to claim he will release his tax returns. If he isn’t going to then he should stop saying he will.
I also wonder why he keeps saying that he can’t release them while under audit even though the IRS has stated it’s fine with them.

Of course it’s fine with the IRS. Generally speaking, like a in criminal investigation, it’s better to withhold the information until the the audit is over.

Also, I think people are confusing net worth with income taxes. Income taxes do not show net worth, just income, expenses, and deductions.

Personally, I do not have twenty years to invest on lobbying for third party candidates while an R or D is elected in every major election during that time. I will do what I can to promote good policies, and negate as much damage as I can, hence my aversion to a USSC filled by Hillary Clinton.
I think you’re missing the point. A good performance by a 3rd or 4th party or even at the national convention gets you name recognition which eventually translates into being recognized by a major party. Think Ron Paul who ran as an R and won, after he had “lost” running as a Libertarian.

This voting for the lesser of two evils only perpetuates/reinforces a state of confusion, for the lack of a better word at the moment.

Trump loses all impulse control, and unleashes a violent Twitter rant against his Miss Universe nemesis.

While Hillary Clinton is riding high after the first presidential debate, Donald Trump is jumping down into the gutter.

In the wee hours of Friday morning, the impulse-control-deficient Republican nominee let loose a torrent of tweets, calling former Miss Universe winner Alicia Machado “disgusting” and accusing her of having a sex tape.

Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an ‘angel’ without checking her past, which is terrible!” read one tweet sent a little after 5 a.m., followed by, “Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT! Hillary was set up by a con.”

He wrapped up his rant with: “Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?”

It was his most vicious lashing out since Hillary Clinton revived his long-running feud with Machado on Monday night’s debate stage. As Trump tried to again attack Clinton’s “stamina,” the Democratic nominee sprung a trap, saying one of the worst things Trump has said about a woman was his public shaming of Machado after she gained a few pounds during her reign.

…]

Clinton’s campaign jumped on Trump’s Machado tweets later Friday morning, eager for yet another chance to highlight his tendency to fling derogatory remarks at women. “What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?” Clinton posted to her Twitter account, the second in a nine-tweet flurry. “Trump obsessively bullies Rosie O’Donnell—an accomplished actor. He insulted Kim Kardashian for her weight—when she was pregnant. Pathetic,” she wrote minutes later, punctuating her online attack by telling her followers that “while Donald continues day 5 of his Machado meltdown, we’ll be in Florida talking about national service. You’ll want to watch.”
“The Clinton campaign could not have asked for more,” David Axelrod, President Barack Obama’s chief campaign strategist, said on CNN.

Axelrod said it is “unfathomable” that Trump made such a self-destructive move on the Friday after the debate, adding that it was a “shrewd thing” for Clinton to poke Trump on his past comments about Machado.

Alicia Machado Responds to Trump: 'I Will Continue Standing’

licia Machado, the former Miss Universe who has been engaged in a war of words with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, posted some strong remarks on Instagram hours after Trump sent out a controversial tweet calling her “disgusting” and urging Americans to watch an alleged sex tape of her.

Written in Spanish, Machado, a staunch Clinton supporter, said Trump “insists on discrediting and demoralizing women, which is definitely one of his most terrifying characteristics.”

Like I said, I can see why folks would vote third-party, and can see why they’d vote for Trump. I choose not to go third-party, but I get why they do it. Some do so out of a conscience issue with either of the other two, while others seek to break the gridlock of the seemingly failed two-party system in DC.

And since, no candidate is perfect, we are always voting the lesser of two evils, metaphorically speaking. It comes down to which cases where you think the candidate you support justifies a vote, and the cases where you think the lesser really isn’t worth the vote.

I’ve never communicated with Trump, let alone pestered him, and am not whining or crying. Just wondering if he’s going to do the thing he has said many times he’s going to do. 🤷
Trump will never release his tax returns, for the exact reasons Clinton mentioned during the debate.

Probably more like meeting Bill Clinton. I wonder what her Methodist pastor told her about abortion?
I don’t know but this is from the UMC website.

“It’s important to note that the Church’s statements on social issues, such as abortion, represent the effort of the General Conference to speak to human issues in the contemporary world from a sound biblical and theological foundation. They are intended to be instructive and persuasive, but they are not church law and are not binding on members. Members will hold differing views on abortion. There is no requirement for members to agree with the Church’s view.”

NBC (Nobody But Clinton) news(lol) story dumping on Trump. What’s new?
I find it very worrisome that when he likely wakes in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, he unleashes a torrent of vitriol via Twitter and wrongly accuses someone of making a pornographic film. Go back to bed, Trump. I can only guess what he’ll spew via social media at 3am if elected president.

It’s made news again over here in the UK.

Yet another example of how bizarre and seemingly impenetrable are the workings of this man’s brain.

Who in their right mind would get up in the early hours of the morning to verbally abuse a woman over her weight on social media and falsely accuse her of being a porn-star? Especially when the said man is a presidential candidate already polling atrociously among female voters.

And how can he possibly expect free-thinking folk to take him seriously as the next President when he acts like this?

It is more akin to a hormonal, unbalanced and misbehaving teenage boy than a professional adult male in his elderly years, which are supposed to bring wisdom rather than idiocy.

I feel so terribly sorry for his management team. They must be near suicidal with him at the moment.

But Trump supporters remain unfazed, through thick and thin, and will always defend him no matter what.

Poll: Clinton leads by 6 points in Nevada

Another post-debate, swing-state poll shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump — this time in Nevada, posting a 6-point advantage over the beleaguered GOP nominee.

Clinton leads Trump, 44 percent to 38 percent, in a Suffolk University poll released Friday. The poll, conducted Tuesday-Thursday, also shows Libertarian Gary Johnson at 7 percent, with the remaining 11 percent choosing another minor-party candidate, undecided or the state-specific “none of these candidates” option that appears on the Nevada ballot.

Clinton’s surge in Nevada isn’t yet translating downballot: GOP Rep. Joe Heck still has a slight lead in the state’s closely watched open-seat Senate race, ahead of Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto, 38 percent to 35 percent. But there’s still a lot of volatility in the race to replace retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid: More than 27 percent of likely voters chose a minor candidate, were undecided or said they would vote for the “none of these candidates” options.

In the presidential race, white voters tilt toward Trump, 46 percent to 38 percent. But Clinton leads among non-white voters by a wider margin: 54 percent to 24 percent.

While half of likely voters still have an unfavorable impression of Clinton, her favorable rating is nearly 10 points ahead of Trump’s: 45 percent for Clinton, to 36 percent for Trump. Fifty-nine percent of likely voters have an unfavorable opinion of Trump.

Clinton is also viewed as more honest and trustworthy than Trump coming out of the debate this week: 38 percent of likely voters said they think Clinton is honest, compared to only 34 percent for Trump.

And Nevada voters agree with other scientific polls nationally and in the states that Clinton did the better job at this week’s debate: 57 percent of likely voters in the Suffolk poll who watched the debate said Clinton won, compared to 23 percent who picked Trump as the winner.

Can’t say I’m surprised either.

Trump has been imploding all week and he has only himself to blame.

This year - we don’t need a good showing - that means we get either Clinton or Trump as president and a Good Showing in either second or third. No third party candidate is going to save this election.

We need to stop the Democratic radically pro-Abortion Party Platform and the candidates that will enact legislation, policy and regulations that will put that platform increasingly in our society. AND - this election is about Supreme Court Nominations -

Hillary has said she will appoint Justices that will continue abortion on demand - even partial birth abortion … literally millions and millions of innocent lives are at risk - not only in America but around the world as Hillary wants to continue to export liberal abortion policies overseas …

Trump has sad he would appoint Justices that will be pro-Life …

We have one vacancy right now - probably two more in the next 4 years - that will shape the court for the next 30 or 40 years that equates - conservatively - to 30 million or more dead children … all around the Globe …

I would rather be mad that a Trump appointee’s decision than be in the position that I must hope that it is Hillary that is the one disappointed in one of her Justices opinion …

This is probably the most important election of my life … I can wish - as I said in an earlier post that the two candidates were different … I am from Oregon - I often feel this way as elections are usually all but decided before the polls close in Oregon … So I can wish the two choices were different … they are not … I am left with the two names before us Clinton and Trump … the Supreme Court is at risk in this election … I cannot vote for Clinton and sitting it out or voting 3rd party assures her a win …I cannot see any other outcome

It’s not just NBC. It’s all over the news and on TV and the longer it stays there the worse it will be for Trump. And Mr. Trump is keeping it in the news by getting involved in a Twitter war. It shows a lack of self control that will hurt his campaign and will raise more doubts about whether he has the temperament to be President.

From the editorial of the Arizona Republic which has not endorsed a Democrat in its 126 years of existence but now endorsed Clinton:

"**Trump’s conversion to conservatism is recent and unconvincing. There is no guarantee he will name solid conservatives to the Supreme Court.
**
Hillary Clinton has long been a centrist. Despite her tack left to woo Bernie Sanders supporters, Clinton retains her centrist roots. Her justices might not be in the mold of Antonin Scalia, but they will be accomplished individuals with the experience, education and intelligence to handle the job.

They will be competent. Just as she is competent."
