6 - 10 for the Lions…I guess the year wasn’t a total disaster. At least we closed out the season with a win over the Packers.

There’s a part of me that wants to root for the Chiefs in the playoffs due to my dad being a Chiefs fan. Another part of me wants to root for the Rams, since they’re the closest thing I have to a home team to root for this playoff season. I guess rooting for both until the Super Bowl will at least give us another really entertaining game.

I guess the Browns loss to the Ravens today was the lesser of the two evils. I understand Baker Mayfield set a new record though, for touchdown passes by a rookie. If only we’d gotten rid of Hue Jackson earlier in the season. Looking forward to next year, if they keep Williams as coach. If they get a new coach, all bets are off.

On an Eagles-related note, has anyone read this? I just saw it being sold at an I-95 travel plaza and it looks interesting.

After being excited the Eagles and Bears won, I went to lay down for a couple mins and woke up 8 hours later. 🥴

Sorry the Steelers and Titans did not make it in…

The Colts might be the last team anyone wants to play in the AFC, atm. HC Frank Reich doing what he helped the Eagles do last season…

Anyway… I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! 🎆

Edit:

Here’s the Wild Card Weekend schedule:

Colts at Texans - Sat. 4:35pm ET
Seahawks at Cowboys - Sat. 8:15pm ET

Chargers at Ravens - Sun. 1:05pm ET
Eagles at Bears - Sun. 4:40pm ET

The only good thing about the season being over: We might get a gag-reel of Pittsburgh Titivillus Dad “Aht-takes”

All this nonsense with AB is a joke. The Steelers have become a laughingstock. Jesse James was right - they’re the Kardashians of the NFL.

Jesse also caught it. 🙂

Not favored to win, but are still the defending Super Bowl Champs. ⌚

GO EAGLES!!

Since the Browns are out of the playoffs, I can now root for my work location team, the Eagles.

Saw a sign yesterday that said, “We Bearly Made it to the Playoffs - Go Eagles!”

I also like the Hershey Bears. Except when they were playing for the Calder Cup against the Lake Erie Monsters. I was totally rooting for Monsters that night. 🙂

I have to draw the line at being a Cubs fan though 😦

I was out all day and just got back to see large crowds of college students (just back from break) heading to the bars in their Eagles green jerseys, t-shirts, and hats, so I figured Eagles beat the Bears today.

THE EAGLES HEADING BACK TO CAJUN COUNTRY TO DISH A WUPPIN’ THIS TIME…OR HECK, MAYBE GET WUPPED AGAIN BY THE SAINTS! LOL (who knows anymore)

They do have a lot of film to study so they don’t get embarrassed again! But this time we’ll also be using our secret weapon… yes, that would be Nick Foles!! 😄

Should be exciting! But I think the Eagles will be heavy underdogs…(though that never
seemed to matter much in big games like this!) 🕺

Yeah that’s a heartbreaking loss for the Bears. It would have gone through on the first attempt if Pederson didn’t call the timeout.

6 uprights in one season!? Wow! Poor guy.
Go cowboys, go colts, go pats!

Glad the Ravens were eliminated.

I don’t really have a favorite at this point. I think the Eagles since I lived in Philly for a long time. If not the Eagles, well then, anyone but the Patriots.

Every prediction I’ve seen so far has the Saints beating the Eagles by a comfortable margin. They do have an excellent team and should be plenty rested with the extra week to prepare. On paper they are anywhere from 8 to 9.5 point favorites. And if the stat I read the other day is correct, they haven’t lost a playoff game at home since 1993?

I will be glued to my TV screen Sunday @ 4:40pm ET! 🙂
