I’m not referring to people on this forum because I don’t know anyone here personally
No love for the best friend.

To the OP, I have no idea if I have told you this before but my mom never made me wear bras to bed and one day I just started doing it. She thinks I am crazy now, she’s right but for the wrong reason. I can’t stand going without a bra I feel all unsupported and jiggly and I am only a C cup but I am sure your DH loves it. 😃 Also I have seen you in a tank top. Once or maybe twice in our lives but I have seen it, then again I also have that picture from FBLA state competition our junior year. Being the only person on here that knows you personally, yes I can tell a difference, I have seen you with out a bra on under your shirt once or twice. So I think, if you are leaving the house put one on, (especially considering where you go to school) if it is just you and DH then by all means enjoy being free. Maybe it will inspire you.

(Hey I want to be a Godmother, ok. Plus I am interested to find out what will happen when the two of you reproduce, it could get interesting. 😃 ) Love ya.

 I agree with you’re mom, lol, you are crazy! I have to take back my statement about not knowing anyone on these forums and correct it to I only know one person personally.

Anyway, I don’t think you’ve seen the tank tops that I have now – and the times you saw me without a bra I wasn’t wearing one of those tanks, I was just wearing a pj shirt 😛 I do wear one when I go out btw, just considering what DH said and wondering honestly what the point was.

Honestly, I think your DH (so weird to not type his name) doesn’t care. If I know him as well as I think. I don’t think he is doing it so he can ogle your breasts.

Honestly, I just got off the phone with you and now I am responding to you via CAF, we are addicted to one another. I guess your DH was wrong about what he said at the rehearsal dinner, and I knew he was. 😃 I win. Now just finish school and move up here.

So sayeth one study- for now. That may apply if one wears a bra constantly, but think if one goes without sometimes that the ligaments will remain supple and supportive.
Have you ever watched National Geographic Channel or flipped through the magazine??? I would say that proves your statement WRONG!

That’s for sure. Those topless natives look saggy!
When I was in High School, if a girl came to school without a bra we would say: “She is going National Geographic” :rotfl: :rotfl:
and just to clarify, this was girls saying this about other girls. I personally would never go Nat. Geo in public

When I was smaller I was far less than an A and I wasn’t wealthy enough to find a specially tailored bra for a girl who had the cup size of a training bra and the strap size of a bodybuilder. That’s how I was shaped. The cold issue was non stop for me except in the daytime in the summer. I was always cold. But I couldn’t do anything about it but layer on the shirts.
Today I usually wear three sweatshirts/longjohn tops/rugby shirts or similar garments at a time and in the winter a coat as well. it’s only in the summer that I think anyone would be able to see the difference though I kind of want to try getting small again for the sake of convenience, if I can do so healthily. I bought a training bra when I thought I was almost that size again but the back hurt. Now I use sport bras when I want to be dressy (I wouldn’t think of wearing anything that let the bra itself show) but the rest of the time I just like breathing and being able to think about soemthing other than straps biting me and strangling me. I tried underwires and I wouldn’t want to try them again. A sharp stick poking me where again? No thanks! I have to hand it to you larger ladies; You put up with a lot.🙂

Did you even bother to READ this thread? My reply was to this statement:
Are you aware there’s research suggesting that bras actually make breasts sag quicker because the ligaments atrophy from lack of use (i.e. bouncing a little while walking)? Bras just put them where we want them, like you said, but they only help keep them there as long as the bra is actually worn.

IMOA- I know people may not agree with me because of the nature of the store but the best bras i have found are Victoria Secret (Lane Bryant for when you get beyong a 40C). There bras just give so much support and coverage. I use them for my everyday bra wearing. As a small D/large C its hard to find good bras.I decided it was worth spedning $50 on a bra that i wear pretty much everyday (i have different colors so i rotate them.
I wish Victoria’s Secret had a better range of sizes. Nothing is larger than a DD cup and no band sizes smaller than 32.

Figleaves.com and Freshpair.com have good ranges of sizes. I didn’t have to return anything to Freshpair, but I know from experience that Figleaves has free return shipping. 👍

For the OP: I agree with the posters who have suggested sports bras. Those offer a lot of support but they’re soft and comfortable, and most are underwire-free. It’s like wearing a supportive crop top.

None of my business, but has nobody ever seen this product?
I suppose if one was inclined to go braless once in a while, that would be a viable option. For those of us who have “highbeams” even through bras, it doesn’t seem reasonable for everyday use (I’m assuming those are disposable). I did recently see an ad for a Bali bra that has those built right into the cups. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of Bali bras; they never seem to fit me right.

For the fuller-figured gals: I just got back from a quick trip to Von Maur department store (which, if you’ve got one in your area, has lots of larger cup sizes and really friendly staff). I bought this Wacoal bra and this Le Mystere bra. I wear a 30E/32DD depending on brand and style, and these both fit really well in 32DD. No jiggling and the second one has thick enough cups that highbeams don’t show through. It’s the first Wacoal bra I’ve bought in years and I was surprised because a different style in that brand didn’t fit at all. It’s the third of this Le Mystere style I’ve bought so far. These hold up really well and fit perfectly. They’re pricey, but considering how necessary they are and how long they tend to last if I hand wash/line dry, I’m willing to pay the money.

Wear one dont wear one so long as you are wearing some clothes who cares! Its personal choice and no one should be involved in your choice of (or not) underwear! I nearly always wear a bra if i go out but im an f/g cup and have little choice although if I am slobbing around at home its taken off - purely for comfort!!!

There are bigger issues in this life - if you worry about your nipples showing wear a thicker shirt but to be honest it doesnt matter!

Being on the smaller size, I wear sports bras. They are comfortable and stretchy. As to the headlights issue, I cut out the cups from a regular bra and insert them into the sports bra. Problem solved.

I could not imagine sleeping in a bra. Ugh! The bra comes off the minute I get home from work and stays off unless I have errands to run.

Honestly - try Lane Bryant. I can’t wear their clothes because they are all cut too large for me, but their bras are wonderful! Very well made too. And if you get on their email list they will periodically have a buy one get one free sale which is fantastic!!

Yes I did. I just accidentally hit the quote on your response instead of the person you were replying to. Sorry. I was actually was thinking about this mistake yesterday and was hoping I would be about to clear it up before you saw it. 😊

You poor dear, I’m sure the poster didn’t mean to come across so harshly. People on discussion sites are often very touchy and berate other posters over small things.

Oh, I take it all in good nature. So many things can come out wrong over the internet. It is terrible that I thought of this over the weekend!!!
