Amen to that, brother.

I will keep your son and grandson in my prayers, Trishie. You have done so much in praying for me and for others; it is the least I can do to return your kindness.

Most holy Virgin, who deigned to come to Fatima, to reveal the treasures of graces hidden in the recitation of the Rosary, inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, that meditating on the Mysteries of our Redemption recalled therein, we may obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, and for the strengthening and healing of both Trishie’s son and grandson, which we ask of you in this Novena, for the greater glory of God, for your own honor, and for the good of souls. Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, pray for us.
 
Thank you each so much for your prayers for my son and his boy.
We won’t know outcomes for another month, but your kind and loving prayers give me reassurance and help to calm my anxieties. Your prayers are God’s love and Hand manifest to me.

Thank you more than I can say.
I ask God to thank you a-hundredfold for me. I must get ready for Mass.
I’ll remember you each in Mass and Communion,
and remember the intentions of your hearts for your loved ones too.

I wanted to let you know that one aspect of the complex issue has been relieved today. Your prayers have helped to ease the financial aspect today. This means that my son can proceed with less oppressing his mind. It isn’t a major amount, but what it means is that his household can continue to function.

He phoned a few minutes ago so I wanted to thank you my dear friends as soon as possible. It’s such a comfort to know you’re there.
And thank You dear God. Despite the uncertainties, I know You are with us.
Please respond powerfully to the needs of my sisters and brothers in CAF.

O Lord, Our Rock and Our Strength, thank you for hearing the prayers of the many kind-hearted people who gather here as your Church to pray for one another and the many troubles that beset our daily lives, and I thank you especially for taking the intentions of sweet Trishie so close to Your heart and helping her son find relief in these difficult times. Help us all, sweet Lord, to remember that You remain faithful even when the valley appears dark and foreboding for your rising Sun shines on all men and women, piercing the darkness and giving hope. Amen.

Thank you each so much. Though only just coming to this thread, I came into Prayer Intentions a couple of hours ago with a heavy heart, as now the children’s mother who has seen virtually nothing of the children in the last ten years, after abandoning them and moving to another State, not because she had work, but because she chose to be away from the children, is now beginning to cause serious trouble also. She had taken my grandson away interstate when he was a baby and kept him from my son until he was seven, sometimes uncontactable, when she returned to this State and gave him to my son when she decided she couldn’t handle him. The recent major troubles with my grandson began with the recent second visit she’s made in that ten years, just three days after she left the State again.

My son is close to breakdown and his daughter who was getting high distinctions at university in her first year and a half, is barely functioning lately, and her mother’s new onslaught is more than they need! It seems as if my son and his children just cannot escape the damage she’s inflicted on their lives from the beginning. Please also pray for her. I don’t think she means harm but she richochets through life causing harm to others. 🙂 I guess it’s hard for anyone of us to get life right, but for some of us, like this person, I guess, harder. My son has worked so hard to undo the damage, especially to his boy who came to him with behavioural and learning difficulties. His daughter, a bright star of a person, was doing well until this last month, but now she too is being torn apart. So I’m grateful for your prayers for them all. Thank you. God bless you 🙂
 
Holy Precious Lord, in your great mercy reach into this family with your healing power. Lift those up that are weary and weak with your strong arms. Provide stability and balance in these lives and provide a barrier of protection from harm in their lives as they heal. I ask this all in the name of Jesus and give you Lord all Glory, Honor and Praise for your wonderful acts of love and mercy to this hurting family!!

My friend Trishie,
I haven’t been on the site for quite sometime. Tonight, with something tugging at my heart I have returned. Your’s is the first prayer request I read. Please know that my prayers are with your family. I totally understand what is happening to your grandchildren, as I have a daughter who is very much like their mother. May God bless these children and keep them menally safe and stable. May he grant peace to both the children and their father. I will say a rosary for them tonight.

Beloved Father, please send Your Most Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to Trishie’s son that he may find peace during these incredibly difficult times. Help him, Lord, to act charitably towards those who persecute him, who cause him to suffer, and bring him so much heartache. Help him to discern Your will, and guide him, Lord, especially in the moments when he stumbles.
