The tribal wisdom of the Plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that:

“When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.”

However, more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:
  1. Buying a stronger whip.
  2. Changing riders.
  3. Appointing a committee to study the horse.
  4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.
  5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included (Alternatively, we make them a “protected class” so that other horses cannot discriminate against them ).
  6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.
  7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.
  8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.
  9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse’s performance .
  10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse’s performance.
  11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.
  12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses
    And, of course…
  13. Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position
If only said dead horse rule could apply to this thread. It’s sad to see the same “ZOMG, Zimmerman detained TM with a gun, therefore, battery was justified!!” lie perpetuated.

But thank you for your vigilance, and perspective!

I don’t see any dead horses here…just one really rank zombie horse that just won’t die. 😛

Yes, For police, the goal is vigilance, not vigilantes
Since almost every one of your threads is about how evil guns and gun owners are, aren’t you wasting your time writing here? Shouldn’t you be writing politicians trying to get them to ban guns? 🤷

Please let me know where almost every one of my other threads have to do with guns? I have close to 5,000 posts on CAFs; what proportion has to do with guns?

Just guessing but around 50% or more?

Just curious, but do you kill zombie horses the same way you kill zombies in general?

Not having the time to research your threads I just scanned the first page. Three of you last eight threads are directed at gun owners. That seems a little obsessive to me, but then who am I to say?

Three of my last eight, that’s some statistical evidence. And even still those three deal with guns only indirectly, as does this thread.

For police, the goal is vigilance, not vigilantes
Oxymoron statement
1.The civil force of a federal or local government, responsible for the prevention and detection of crime and the maintenance of public order.
2.Members of a police force.
A vigilante is an individual or group who undertakes law enforcement without legal authority or illegal authority.

Of course not. Hugs are the only way to kill horse zombies. But there is a very specific procedure you have to follow in order for it to work.
  1. First you have to imagine their perspective. Really feel that need to kill and eat brains.
  2. Then, follow one around in the dark until it turns on you and attacks. This could take anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes.
  3. Lastly, while they are trying to crush your skull, that’s when you strike. Hug that brain eating horse with everything you’ve got. Only when you give up all defense and just love him/her/it then and only then will it give up it’s brain eating ways, apologize and rest in peace.
(OR just personally refuse to post or reply to any post that references this zombie horse)

Actually Robert rarely starts threads on guns.
