Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

***Eternal Father, I offer you the Body & Blood, Soul & Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

St. Faustina pray for us.

I have a special intention in this regard: I chose to enter a psychiatric ward instead of becoming homeless. I wish now I had been gone homeless instead. The psych ward was more socially acceptable but was a lie that led to the disaster that is my life.

Please pray especially for the mentally ill homeless, for many of them would rather be homeless than go back to a psychiatric ward, state hospital, home, or whatever other setting they had to flee from.

Father, I come before you with tears in my eyes to ask for forgiveness. I cannot imagine the trial of homelessness, the physical privation, the loneliness and alienation and abandonment. And if I myself had wound up homeless. or if I wind up homeless so many years later, I may have died, and I would probably die now, unfit and not strong enough. Back then, though, maybe I would have had a chance. It is hard to imagine that anything could be worse than what I did wind up going through.

Please Lord, help me understand and discern and accept your will in this matter and in others in my life, especially in times when I am weak and desperate and the evil one tugs at my sleeve.

Also, please Lord, I pray that my son does not end up on the street at this time as he is heading there fast.

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for and ever. Amen.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen***

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.

Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.
Amen.

In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.
