Our Lady of Sorrows, whose Immaculate Heart was pierced with a sword, pray for all those who are grieving at the sudden loss of life. May the soul of the dearly departed be immersed in divine Mercy.

Mother of Mercy, obtain speedy relief from the agony of purgatory if the soul should be detained there temporarily.

I buried my husband of 23 years (who had been part of my life for 33 years, since we took a long time to get engaged) next to his dad and mom yesterday, back in his hometown. Saturday was the one-year anniversary of his dad passing - his mom had died even more recently.
I hope they are all together in Heaven.
A priest came and did the funeral service at the funeral home and the interment prayers out on the street next to the hearse. No Mass as husband was not a Catholic and no graveside prayers as the cemetery was not a Catholic cemetery and they apparently don’t usually do graveside very much in this area anyway. It was a nice service anyway.

I have so much to do, I don’t know how I’m going to get it all done. One step at a time I guess. Jesus, Mary and Joseph will help me. They have to as otherwise I can’t do anything.
 
Try not to stress, bear. You will get it done in time. Either God will give you the strength to do what you need to get done, or he will send you the help you need. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Our prayers are with you as you deal with your personal feelings along with all the tasks and challenges facing you.

I thank God that the priest was present and praying with and for your husband and you.

Lord please grant all Tis_Bearself’s prayers for strength and direction, and her prayers for her husband’s eternal peace and joy.
