Yeah, my dad had one - a beetle.

Under the scheme where the German people could get a car, hundereds of people applied and gave money to doing this, but not one single car was ever given to a person under that scheme… goes to show how easily Hitler lied, the huge scale he did, and how well they conned everyone…

That is not true. It was not a con or scam. They did indeed intend to deliver vehicles to every holder of a completed book and Hitler genuinely did want it to be as easy as possible for every German to own one. The problem was that only a few prototypes had been produced before the war started in September, 1939 and at that time all production was stopped in favor of military vehicles. The same thing happened in every combatant nation including the U.S. VW did indeed honor all of the completed books and delivered the cars in the 1950’s.

Gees my history teacher is sooo bad - I have already had to correct her on the entire Ernst Rohm thing (she seemed to emphasis too much on his homosexuality - and not enough on his socialism) and then also the role of the Catholic church during WWII… oh well, as long as I have you to correct me… 😛 😃 😉

GLSEN has achieved stunning progress over the past six years in our public schools by shifting the debate away from parent authority to sexual orientation, student safety, equal access, and anti-discrimination. HAbout the time Hurricane Isabel reached landfall on Thursday, September 18, 2003, a group of activists, educators, and junior high and senior high school students gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network) National Conference. Like the havoc that Isabel wrought on communities in North Carolina, GLSEN threatens to produce far greater devastation.

What I witnessed during these brief 72 hours left me with the conviction that GLSEN is a cultural hurricane that’s hitting our schools with the kind of force and devastation that may take years to fully assess. Let me try to paint the picture. GLSEN is a self-styled pro-gay education network targeting our kids in public schools. The danger is in how they seek to accomplish this mission. In effect, GLSEN’s objective is to cut out parents and adult leaders in the child’s life who don’t agree with the LGBT agenda. Every speaker at the national conference made this message very clear.

Education Network (GLSEN)!

GLSEN targets children for recruitment into the homosexual lifestyle as well as cross-dressing/sex change operations through GLSEN chapters that sponsor hundreds of Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs on junior high and high school campuses across the United States.

GLSEN gets into schools by claiming that “homosexual” and “transgender” students need to feel safe and encouraged; and that so-called “homosexual/transgender” teens have high rates of suicide and need a support group. When this tactic fails, GLSEN then threatens legal action against school districts that refuse to allow these recruitment clubs on campus. The American Civil Liberties Union has volunteered to serve as the enforcement arm of GLSEN to impose a homosexual agenda on the nation’s public schools.

The following excerpt is taken from Chapter 3, "Stupid Parents, Enlightened Kids"

Every fall, millions of parents drop their children off at taxpayer-funded public schools, assuming that their children’s education will provide what they need to be successful in life: strong academics, civility, and responsibility.

Unfortunately, many of these same parents have little or no idea of what is happening to their children once they pass through the classroom door. Instead of learning the three R’s or how to be good citizens like many of us were taught, they are learning how to reject the values that many of their parents have tried hard to instill in them. Sadly, many of these parents refuse to believe that this is happening, even when you produce evidence of how the radical homosexual activists are targeting children in public schools to accept, affirm, and be recruited into homosexual behavior.

In some areas of the country where homosexual activists have had free reign for years, the indoctrination of children starts as early as kindergarten. At a Massachusetts Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) conference, there was a specific workshop on how to “incorporate gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues into the early elementary years.”1 On the GLSEN website, there are elementary school lesson plans featuring the themes “What is Boy/Girl?” along with books with titles such as Queering Elementary Education. 2

The Homosexual Agenda: It’s No Longer About Tolerance

During the 1980s, homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Erastes Pill wrote their manifesto, The Overhauling of Straight America. It is a strategic, long-term plan for homosexual behavior to gain society’s approval.

In this work, Kirk and Pill declared, “In the early stages of any campaign to reach straight America, the masses should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself. Instead, the imagery of sex should be downplayed, and gay-rights should be reduced to an abstract social question as much as possible. First, let the camel get his nose inside the tent—and only later his unsightly derriere!”

“During the 1990s, the homosexual agenda succeeded in getting its nose in the tent by proclaiming tolerance,” said Janet Folger, national director of the CENTER FOR RECLAIMING AMERICA. “That strategy worked, and now they are demanding that their behavior not just be tolerated, but also accepted as normal.”

**‘Safe Environment’ Programs Began As Pro-Homosexual Propaganda

** The recent national mandate to “all bishops” from Teresa Kettelkamp, director of the USCCB’s Office of Child and Youth Protection, has rekindled the controversy over the “safe environment” programs mandated by the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, adopted by the bishops in 2002.

As The Wanderer reported two weeks ago, a forceful response to Kettelkamp’s directive came from Bishop Robert Vasa of the Diocese of Baker, Ore. Bishop Vasa published a column in the diocesan newspaper entitled, “We Need Answers.” The bishop said that, until he had those answers, he would be inclined to ignore Kettelkamp’s mandates.

One of Bishop Vasa’s central questions addressed the origins of the “safe environment” programs. “Where do these programs come from,” he asks.

The bishop might be startled to learn the answer.

From their very inception, “safe environment” programs were diverted from any mention of homosexuality.
