A short trip to both my local post office and UPS store is enough to demonstrate the difference in quality of work.
So, the deputy director of the FBI is last because a post office worker slacked off one day? Is that what I am reading?

That all depends on the crime.

Some times you need to send a signal that such dishonest behavior will no longer be tolerated.

It wouldn’t be smart to leave this man out of his pension a day before.
It is calling for much more trouble than the benefit of " a" signal.
There have been too many firings also to call one in so many a signal.
It won’t happen, he will get his pension .
That is my bet.

Aside from the fact than I wouldn t do that even to my worst enemy…honestly

Obama wasn’t destroyed because he served honorably, was a gentleman and a professional, and did his job, however much people will agree or disagree on the issues.
Trump, on the other hand, is a proven liar, has spent much of his time tweeting slanderous lies denegrating all manner of people from private citizens to high level officials, guilty of nepotism, cashing in on his position as president, tried to alienate our closest allies, emboldened racists with his hateful speeches at rallies, done everything he can to divide the population, wasted our taxpayer dollars by going to Florida instead of staying at the white house, promoted conspiracy theories, done everything he can to undermine Mueller’s investigation, floated the idea that the American president should have unlimited term, has boasted openly that he’s proud of being a sexual predator, flip flops his positions to keep people off balance, … So tell me, if he is so great and if he has nothing to hide, why doesn’t he stick to doing his job, work within the parameters of the presidential office and cooperate with the Mueller team investigation instead of denouncing him before its conclusion? Because he is attempting to hide something he’s done, or is still doing.

Yes, you really are out of touch. Don Jr. set up a meeting with a Russian agent who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. That is, taking something of value from a foreign government. It’s against the law.
So US citizens can’t make business deals with foreign governments? Actually you seem to be claiming US citizens can’t even meet or plan to meet with foreign governments to make business deals. Even if that was illegal, and it’s not, such a law would be unjust. However such a law would certainly make Hillary Clinton an arch criminal. Just this week she was meeting with government officials in India.

Post office workers slack off every day. Pick any government job and it is all the same.

If it is true that, as according to you, there are so many Americans slacking off everyday in every public sector job, then you must be of the opinion that Americans lack a work ethic. As an American, I disagree.

They aren’t allowed to take something of value to support a campaign. That’s what Trump Jr’s meeting with an agent of the Russian government was supposed to do. It wasn’t a deal to make Trump, Jr. some money, it was a deal to get dirt from the Russian government on Trump’s opponent in the election.
OK. So let’s say that is a crime. That would mean the actual false dirt used to smear Trumo was a violation of the law. If that is what the issue is then why isn’t crooked Hillary being investigated? Hillary didn’t just plan a meeting she actually used dirt received from a foreigner.

The American ethic has gotten worse. The government worker ethic, which was worse to being with, has likewise gotten worse. Just watch any government construction project, particularly roads. They take years when they should take months.

Let’s discuss the classical tradition of creation from chaos and the use of the phrase “ex nihilo” outside of religious or metaphysical contexts as meaning something coming from nothing. A conflation of the two might suggest the promotion of chaos to further the creation of something new - the use of chaos to further change - would it not?

Senator Marco Rubio and other Republican lawmakers pushed back against the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and efforts by President Donald Trump to dismiss the probe being led by special counsel Robert Mueller.

McCabe shouldn’t have been fired days before he was due to retire in an episode that risks demoralizing and “smearing” agents, the Republican Florida senator Rubio said.

“He should have been allowed to finish through the weekend,” Rubio said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about the former FBI deputy director fired just two days before he was set to retire at age 50 after more than two decades with the bureau. “I would’ve certainly done it differently.”

All the while Trump has been busy on Twitter again this weekend questioning the fairness of the probe led by special counsel Robert Mueller.

However, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina repeated a previous comment that removing Mueller would be the beginning of the end of Trump’s presidency.

Graham added that the special counsel is following the evidence where it takes him, and that it’s very important he be allowed to do his job without interference, Graham said of Mueller on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. Graham added, "there are many Republicans who share my view.”

You can pay a foreign vendor for services, I believe. You can’t accept the services for free. To be truthful, we don’t know which way the Trump Jr meeting/deal would have gone.

We do know that Trump knew about the meeting, contrary to what he claims, because after the meeting was set up and before it happened Trump said on the campaign trail he would very soon reveal dirt about Hillary. And then never did.

McCabe is still a young man.

And I think he will get Social Security.

He may also get government-paid accommodation in Leavenworth.

Trump not only knew about the meeting but he went on to ask in a public rally the Russians to release the emails they stole. Trump supporters of course claimed that he was joking. That’s a very poor defense if you ask me.

It can depend on what the business is, government is, and or how the money is transferred.

For example, if the government is Iran or Cuba, one can run up against legal issues. If your business involves certain technology, which could be either hardware or software, than you may not be allowed to ship to Russia or China. If you give any government additional money over and above normal fees, you could find yourself in legal jeopardy.

Anytime one is doing business with businesses or governments outside their own country, they probably should get legal advice in both countries.

The same is true if one is going into politics. Get some qualified legal advice on what you can and can’t do, who you can and can’t talk to, what you can and can’t say.

Then follow that advice.

While this seems like common sense, as we know, common sense isn’t all that common

Good point. For example if you are running a deal with an entity under sacntion, then there may be trouble.

Maybe this deserves a thread.

In terms of McCabe being able to feed his family, his wife is the Medical Director of Inova Loudoun Medical Center. They won’t starve.

It’s the principal of the whole thing. He’s being treated differently because Trump is trying to advance the narrative that if he gets indicted, if Jared gets indicted, it was all a plot by Deep State actors like McCabe, who was a “bad actor”. Most times the investigation plods along, and in this case they might have said that McCabe should have been disciplined, but has retired, End of story.
