You can claim distinction without difference, but the reality is that blocking of appointments had led to level of vacancies that was unworkable - apart from the SCOTUS. That is a significant difference.

He is only uniquely unpopular to some - not all. For many, he is very popular.

Reviewing the timing of the smears. The improper handling OF THE LETTER. That was so WRONG! Both Ford & Kavanaugh have painful things to endure. No accusations should be disclosed until corroboration has happened. His adult life is Saintly. He was a drinking Frat boy(?) He enjoyed college w parties. Who sits on the bench already, who did the same? Should teen or college behavior be considered in adult lives?? Thank you! Harvard students are trying to block him. The girls team asked him not to coach. Hopefully, all will reconsider since nothing was corroborated.
 
Now that he is a Justice, it would be better if he didn’t do those things. He’s going to have a huge amount of work, and the security he would need might be too much for the schools to handle. So he would likely have had to give those things up anyway.
 
Justices generally become low profile after they’re sworn in but you never know before an election.

I suspect Kav will be very low profile, just working as a Justice. He’s got his family to think of and can’t risk being more of a target.
 
Really for the most part all of the SC justices are low profile

There have been 7 exhaustive investigations into Justice Kavanaugh. Seven.
There is one place where an investigation has not taken place: Maryland.
If the Democrats retake the House and start another investigation, it will rightfully be viewed as a political event intending a political outcome, not one based on justice.
