The interviewees in the FBI supplemental investigation should have included the people that Ford named as the friends who she confided in about the assault. To say there is “no evidence” is patently false.
If what you want to say is “there is no evidence that is satisfactory to me”, then say that.
There has been no direct or first-hand evidence presented by Ford, but whether you like it or not, past confessions to a other people about the alleged assault does count toward evidence in favor of (not against) her testimony. Remember, her testimony does NOT simply consist of the core allegation (sexual assault by Kavanaugh) but other details about her life, including circumstantial details.
Thus, many other of Ford’s claims given during her testimony could have been investigated.
Was she really a member or frequenter of the Columbia Country Club in her teens? Investigate.
Who were Ford’s closest friends when she was 15 / durong her sophmore year in high school? Investigate.
What can those friends tell us about Ford and any social events she went to?Investigate.
Do they recall any time in 1982 when Ford was acting noticeably different or affected by something? Investigate.
Did Mark Judge really work at the supermarket Ford says he did around the time she says she did 1982?
Investigate.
Did Ford and Kavanaugh have mutual friends/social links? Investigate.
Was there ANY party or social gathering in which Kavanaugh and Ford were both present? INVESTIGATE.
That last one could easily be investigated by opening up the interviews to former classmates and acquaintances.
Not only Ford’s former classmates and acquaintances, but also Kavanaugh’s. Especially those who were willing and offering to come forward (they could provide other leads).
What we do know is that there are three unknown/uidentifies people who the FBI interviewed.
