I dont thin Zer is 16 at all, but a man with issues.
I really think he wants to become Catholic, and knows the Catholic Church is Jesus’s real church. But he is really struggling with the fact of the conversion. He is on his last legs TRYING to convince himself that the LDS church is real, but yet, with trying in vain to win arguments, to try and convert people to LDS, he is slowly realizing he is losing this battle, that he really knows deep down Jesus is telling him, yes, the Catholic Church is the truth.
Its the devil on the other shoulder that is saying ‘stay with lds, stay with lds’.
Zer, i know its hard to admit it, but there is nothing wrong admitting the truth, its actually good for the soul.
Just look at your actions, your heart is hardened, if you dont, sorry, that is when you dont win arguments, you become cheeky, attempting to put people down to deflect from the real topic at hand. Now this is not the approach of a Christian is it. That is why lds approach with this tactic.
Now, if you try gracefully, and methodically, to debate, you might just let the truth enter your heart when your losing your next battle and learn that the Catholic Church is the truth.

Zerinus. As part of this thread you said that proof of God’s love was that He restored the “true” church with all its ordinances including vicarious ordinances in the temple for the dead. I asked you what God’s leaving us for 1700 years during what mormons call the “great apostasy” said about Him. Why did He do this when these people needed Him so much, when they needed His church and His ordinances and priesthood there and then, not centuries later. I even suggested that the mormon god made in the image of man was in a strop.

I am not seeking new converts for the lds faith. I am just defending the lds faith against vicious attacks. Nothing more. Last night I attended Mass and before Mass I went to the priest and confessed my sins. And then I took communion.
However, I still can go to the lds church. I have no problems with the lds church at all. It is a good church but it does not fit my own way of life at this moment.

Did you confess that you’ve been defending the truth of the Mormon Church here? You don’t need to answer that (assuming you really went to confession), but if you are really Catholic like you claim you need to do some soul-searching. You certainly don’t act like you believe in Catholicism around here. Perhaps you are schizophrenic. That can be helped with medication.

My Mother taught me while growing up that we evangelize in how we live our lives and what we profess to believe. By defending the LDS faith here, IMO you are evangelizing (proselytizing) whenever you defend a faith that is diametrically opposed to Catholic doctrine.

COME AGAIN? How could Mormons end up with less abortions? If your referring to the fact that Mormons only have 13 million members and Catholics have 1 Billion 200 million plus members there may be some truth in your claim. However if you are insinuating that Mormons are responsible for less abortions that is not true. The fact you allow abortions in the 5 cases legalized by Roe and Doe makes you responsible for all of the abortions done in those cases. In Case you are unaware when your church says it allows abortions in the case of risk to the mothers ‘HEALTH’ THIS IS THE SAME LANGUAGUE OF ROE AND DOE THAT LEGALIZED ALL ABORTIONS. Rape is a mental stress abortion, incest is a mental stress abortion, deformity is a mental stress abortion, health can be a mental stress abortion. The reasoning of the Supreme Court was that if a rape victim can have an abortion because of mental stress then any other woman can, thus abortion on demand was born. Read Roe and Doe Call the office of the LDS Presidency 1801240100 then you will realize Mormons bought the entire abortion line and are virtually responsible before God for every abortion that takes place in the U.S. Also LDS leaders opened the door to abortifacients (birth control pills, the morning after pill, R.U. 486) LDS leaders also opened the door to Embryonic stem cell research and LDS political leaders (Orrin Hatch for one) led the way trying to force tax payers to pay for this mass slaughter.
Catholics who do any of these things commit mortal sins and break Catholic law making the church responsible for none of these crimes because Christs true Church officially opposes all of these obvious evils… While true LDS are responsible before God for virtually all these abortions and deaths because of their consent…

Zerinus, do you consider whyme a Mormon apostate for these actions?
My LDS missionary visitors used to tell me enthusiastically how they loved going to Catholic mass and would gladly attend services of any faith. I think they were chastized for it though, because one day they told me soberly they would no longer be attending non-Mormon services after someone in their church criticized the practice.

Per capita, Mormons have less abortions. So if I was a fetus and wanted to be born. I would have a better chance in a LDS womb. LDS way works better.
