The Catholic Church has seen many changes.
Greetings CMatt25,

This is not a proper answer to Does God Change? Some of her practices may change yes, but never the Dogmas, Tradition, [upper T], and the Magisterium never changes.

So beceause the Church may change some of its external practices is not reason enough to say that God changes.

God is eternal.

God Bless.

Greetings, correct the Catholic Church distinquishes between dogma, doctrine, disciplines, practices, and so forth when it comes to change.

correct… and God doesn’t change His mind. Christ taught his disciples well and if women were to be priests, there would have been women priest among the Apostles. His own mother would have been most worthy to be the first.
Theoretically, priests are support to be dead to the world and alive in Christ. Women, through, the Virgin Mary, are intended to give life abundantly.
If women are the earthly life giver, then they wouldn’t be capable to be dead in the flesh; thereby, enabling men to the priesthood service of Jesus Christ. Thus, priests when alone from all worldliness would be dead in the flesh. As Jesus said, ‘…let the dead bury their dead’. Matthew 8:22 😉

Greetings CMatt25,

Still your response to the question “Does God Change?” of The Church has seen many changes does not make sense. This response to my last post is even more encrypted. Care to elabroate and not just answer in one sentence answers?

God Bless.

I don’t believe this “movement” is very significant. It’s best to simply not give it any attention but to simply contact local news or papers if they provide incorrect information regarding such “ordinations”.

Most, or all of these women, are older so just give it time- it’ll pass away.
This “Women priest” thing is sadly alive and well at so-called Catholic universities. I’m in a Master’s program at Loyola in Chicago and several of my female classmates have publically said the Jesuits there are helping them toward “ordination” once they graduate. It makes me sick. These people are in Catholic institutions and just don’t have any knowledge of what it means to be Catholic.

P.S. Yes, I have been asked why Loyola . . . it’s 1 of 2 programs approved by Arch Chicago for those seeking to become a Pastoral Associate or DRE.

One other really odd thing about this “ordination” . . . . the lady was a Benedictine nun for 30+ years living under perpetual vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. Until it simply didn’t suit her any more and she walked away from her community and her vows? Was obedience the problem? If she cannot make a covenant and keep it, how long do you think she’ll want to play priest before she gets bored and walks away? I hope she comes to her senses and repents before she dies.

“We are leading a revolution in the Catholic Church – a holy shakeup,” Meehan says.
Yup…here’s what it’s all about and, former nun that you are, you have absolved yourself from your vow of obedience mistakenly thinking you are a trailblazer to be admired. This is the evil mantra of the radical feminist movement within the Church that has been going on for 40+ years. How pride blinds!

The Catholic Church has seen many changes.
the Catholic Church is like the acorn that grows into an oak. The acorn and the oak are the same only at different stages of development. Yet many would say that the acorn has changed.

No. God leads His Church. And of course today it is invalid in the Catholic Church.
so you don’t believe in the Holy Trinity? If the Holy Spirit is God and the Holy Spirit leads the Church then the Church is led by God.
