Not to get into the immolation issue, which is a unique study worthy of much discussion, the fact is that NONE of the men in the West who beat their wives, or even kill them, can claim religion as a defense and get away with it.

Heaven is not mentioned, but killing a wife for certain offenses is considered correct and just. Since murder therefore is just, the implication is that, yes, Islam teaches teaches that a man may murder his wife (in certain circumstances) and will still go to heaven.

Islam does not allow husbands to kill wives. Those husbands will get due punishments on the Judgment Day if somehow can manage avoiding it in this world.

lol where are the verses ? Even if any husband catches wife that she cheated her ( finds her with another man) , husband is not allowed to kill her .

Why do you continue to make this false argument… The killings we are discussing are the ones done in the name of God which Islam condones… you take murder statistics and apply them to being Christian when infact these murders are not part of their religion… cutting a head off and screaming praise be to Allah as we have seen in many videos is a referendom on a religious culture… any time anyone addresses these things you skirt the issue… the issue is suicide bombings, honor killings, genital mutilation, and beheadings are part of Islamic culture please tell me how they are not…

No, it is not part of Christian culture because it is NOT taught in the Bible, the Magestrium and Sacred Tradition of the church. It may be Western culture which you have been unable to differentiate from Christianity or simply non-believers unGodly culture.

   You just think about airplanes slamming into buildings.   I think of the thousands of catholic children that have had catholic priests sexually abuse them, and  this  still goes on today.  There is no worse crime then that!. Do you agree with that?....Just google priest gets caught or priest steals or priest charged............the catholic church is not squeaky clean my friend, read all about it.   

    All throughout history the catholic church has committed a lot of terrible crimes.  

    The crime that this Muslim man did was disgusting.  Justice will be served.   He seems to be the exception rather then the rule as you might suggest.  Our jails are busting at the seams right now in america full of christians. 

      I am white background but not afraid to give both sides to religious stories.   The church has done an excellent job in spreading hatred about those from other countries or continents.   Thats the way of the church and thats sad.
 
It has been pointed out that honor killing has strong basis in the Quran.

what is the fascination with muslims and cutting off peoples heads? it seems everyday we’re reading about muslims cutting off heads, what’s up with that? it runs the gammit as the prefered method of murder from fanatics to self proclaimed peaceful westernized muslims. is it a cultural thing?

   Why would a loving God allow King Herod to massacre (murder)  all young male children in order to kill baby Jesus?  Called Massacre of the Innocents. Does that make sense to you?  Is that a loving God?

    I guess murder is a culture phenomenon in our country.  We have more murders and felony crimes committed per capita here then any other western culture democracy.   Mostly committed by Christians.   I don't believe we have a right to generalize about an incident that somehow in some minds becomes rampant behaviour......Unbelievable!

   Yes this man will get his day in court and yes this man will do his time.   Just like any criminal that might be Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Atheist or other.....
