What does all this have to do with the man beheading his wife? [See my previous post about avoiding the issue and avoiding the question.]

I believe its times that this forum closed. We have all answered about this beheading situation and we are all getting way off track…time for all to move on. What else is there to say. He should be punished just like anyone in america that commits a crime of murder. Beheading, gun blast, stabbing, strangle…whatever. What happens in Islam should stay in Islam. What do I care.

This is amazing. This story of the honor killing of this woman is all over the media, describing why he killed her, yet the media must be wrong … except when it criticizes the Catholic Church. Conversely, it must be right when it defends Islam.

If you are a Catholic as you claim to be, you must not have been paying much attention in catechism class. [Paragraph 890 and following.] It’s no wonder you left the Church [assuming you were ever in it to begin with]; you know less about it than an eight-year-old attending his first religion class.

Like it or not, proud of it or not, there is no such thing as a non-practicing Catholic. Period.

  59 years old.  You are right I didn't pay much attention to the catechism classes  back in the 1950s.  I was too busy checkin out the girls in my class like most boys did.  Remember?   I was raised a catholic because like you thats what my parents said I was going to be.......just like them. No thanks.   At the age of reason about 7 I knew this wasn't going to be for me.  I have broken away like many millions of catholics and couldn't be happier.  You should try it?   Break those chains of the church that make you believe what they want you to believe. Yes, Jesus knew there would be those who hated His People, His Church.

What can you do but kill the body? You have no reign over the soul. Revelation tells us that the martyred souls will reign in Heaven and judge the nations.

Now i cannot imagine the state of one’s soul who uses threats of violence to convert anyway - when Jesus Himself gave Himself up to death to show us how to really behave and how we would eventually have to behave.

So as the serpent hisses, so does violence sound in the ear of the Lord. For those who usurp His power as Creator and Lord over all, and those who murder as Paul said - shall NOT inherit the kindgom of Heaven.

I find it intersting how much you talk about the middle east.  Lets not forget those that believe in Jesus know that he came from the middle east. The sacred heart of Jesus picture  depicts Jesus as a tall tanned Malibu beach surfer type guy with the long hair and blue eyes.  Everyone sees what I  see.   In reality we know he didn't look anything like that but thats what they want us to believe.  You can't fool the fooler. I believe its very important to get the story right.  The whole story right.  You will never see a picture of Jesus showing him wearing tassels on his clothing.  It mentions a few  times in the Bible about Jesus wearing tassels on his clothes like most jewish men wore at the time.  The church wants to sanitize him not to be looking like he was a Jew.  What other reason would there be?  Many catholics go along with nonsense.  He was probably about 5 feet 4  with big lips and big nose dark olive skin dark eyes and black hair.  Whats wrong with depicting the TRUTH for a change.   For some reason the church wants us to believe he is from California.  Someone tell me I am wrong?

And secondly, Africa is converting by the millions. 6 million per year to Catholic or Christian.

Islam claims they are growing in conversions - but they are not.

BTW - if Islam persecutes the men of the Church and they fill with the lust for blood [the cup of the Saints in Revelation] - it only fulfills Christ’s prophecies. That in the end we will be persecuted.

basically, we have to pray for muslim woman. We have another wonderful former muslim on these boards that goes by the username morningstar777. He lives in the same country as muslim woman, and he converted to Catholicism because he opened his heart to the Lord. MW has been given the chance to come to these forums and learn the truth, we just have to pray to God to open her eyes to the truth now.
But, until she has the courage to question her faith, we will just have to wait for that day.

However, Muslim Woman et al are showing no intention of even attempting to learn about our faith, nor to discuss our faith according to OUR beliefs and established doctrine.       I disagree.    Without Judas Christianity would not have emerged or happened the way we know it today.    If the small crowd that was there at the Crucifixtion happened to wander home that day, or left because of bad weather  Jesus would have never been crucified.   Remember it was a small crowd of people that determined his fate.

      We knew only a year or so of his ministry.   We were all taught the stories of Jesus bringing Lazerous back to life   Bible says Jesus made a blind man see again.  Bible says at the wedding of Cana Jesus turned water into wine and made all the  drinkers  happy again.  Jesus fed 5,000 people loaves and fishes.   Now if all these stories are true as the Bible says  then wouldn't common sense tell you that all these people owed a big favour to Jesus.  Lazerous should give a big thumbs up for bringing him back to life.  5,000 people probably the whole town would give Jesus a big thumbs up for the free loaves/fishes and say thanks  brother.  Wouldn't the former blind mine be very grateful.  I know I would, but at the crucifixtion they all turned against him.......Doesn't make common sense to me.     Its a story that doesn't make any common sense at all.  But just keep on believing.  

    These are just more puzzle pieces to the Christianity story that are cut and trimmed and hammered into the puzzle to make all the pieces fit.   

    All these stories are childrens stories a bunch of soft shell guys that had nothing better to do then write some poetry.  Unbeievable!

      Do you believe Adam lived to be over 900 years old?  Its in the bible.  It must be true.   Genesis:    day and night were created on day l before the sun was created on day 4.  Plants created on day 3 before the sun was created on day 4.  Please read Genesis.   (LOL)
