Fr. Allard says Yes!

"Today I can do it today!"

When I watch Fr. Allard, through the lens of his chaplain assistant, I see the practice general holiness of the High Priest Jesus the Messiah.

Did the Messiah instruct people only privately?

Fr. Allard is firmly determined to concelebrate the Holy sacrifice of the Mass. Why?
He longs to see Jesus the authentic Messiah acknowledged and loved by all mankind.
He makes the truth of the Messiah understandable: the existence of only One God, Creator of all mankind.
Perhaps Fr. Allard will console the infant Jesus tears who sees many souls lost.
May Almighty God accept his sacrifice.

Is there any doubt Fr. Allard is sharing in the mystery of saving souls through Jesus?

FR. ALLARD SAY YES!

"Today I can do it!"

A priest is a priest forever

in the silent tears of a priest
he recognizes the true king, the promised messiah,
some people don’t see
who came not to be noted with fame, in riches or pride
but in silence and suffering and in humility.

in the silent tears of a priest
why be distressed over my weakness of my approaching death
my wheelchair, my trembling, and what doctors state
when Jesus says to me as his priest
the number of lost souls are very great
be the strength of my chalice in redemptive suffering

May the Holy Virgin Mary Mother of God console Fr. Allard.
We love you Fr. Allard

Tell him, that we believe in miracles!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

YES!! TELL HIM WE BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!!!

Here are some song lyrics I wrote in honor of this YEAR OF THE PRIEST
It’s called “The Thank You Song”.

Now you and I have seen it through
For you and I have seen the Truth
And we thank you!
Thank you, dear Father and we love you.
Yes and THANK YOU!
Thank you, dear Father for your love, your love too.

Now God, above, enthoned in Love
The Father, Son and Spirit’s Dove
and we THANK YOU!
Thank you, dear Trinity, we love you.
Yes and thank you!
Thank you dear Trinity for your Love, too!

Ave, ave, ave Marie
We come to you on bended knee
Just to THANK YOU!
Thank you, dear Mother and we love you.
Yes and Thank You
Thank you, dear Mother for your Love, your Love, too!

Now God and Man and Woman, too
And Mom, above, for conceiving Love–
Yes we THANK YOU!
All those in Heaven, for those above,
Yes we THANK YOU all those on earth who do manifest your Love.

Now you and I have seen it through
For you and I have seen the Truth
And we THANK YOU!
Thank you dear Father and we love you!
Yes and THANK YOU
Thank you, dear Father for your love, your love too!!

GOD SPEED, FATHER ALLARD!!

Yours in Christ and in the Most Holy Rosary,
Elizabeth

Novena to St. Padre Pio for Blessed Mother’s intentions for Fr. Allard 6th DAY

Obedient St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have loved the sick more than yourself, because you were able to see Jesus in them. You have performed many miracles by healing patients in the name of Jesus and thereby giving them peace of mind. We beg you to pray for Fr. Allard, so that as a sick patient, through the intercession of Mary, he can be healed and his body restored so that they may benefit from the Holy Spirit and, therefore, thank and praise God forever.

“If I knew that a person was afflicted in his mind, body or soul, I would beg God to set him free of his affliction. I would gladly accept the transfer of his affliction to myself, so that he may be saved, and I would ask that he benefit from the fruits of these sufferings… if the Lord would allow me to do it”. *** St. Padre Pio de Pietrelcina***

I’m very thankful to all who pray for Fr. Allard. And I’m very grateful to NeedImprovement for all the good he has done … My words of gratitude are weak and insufficient. It seems that I am never offering to the Virgin Mary enough little acts of sacrifice and praise, for the good of my vocation and for the good of the body of Christ. Thus, I need the holy Blessed Mother and her virtues, in exchange for my weakness and frailties, in order for Her to present them to Almighty God.

I’m going on a pilgrimage with the Padre Pio Foundation of America
Pilgrimage dates: September 19 - 29, 2009 (I’ll be there for 2 weeks)

Assisi, Pietrelcina, San Giovanni Rotondo, Rome, Florence, daily Mass, St. Michael’s cave (Mass in there) and more surprises.

I was not going to do this, but I changed my mind after spending time in prayer.

For those on this prayer thread, I am willing to present you to all the holy places (Padre Pio’s parents) and Saints I visit, provided that I have your permission first. See itinerary.

I have a prayer notebook of written names with me. It will be packed in my overnight bag on Thursday. If something happens, where I can’t continue on the pilgrimage in Italy, (my aunt my pass away), I will pass your request to another Catholic, who understands the benefits of the graces you will receive. It’s a much better gift to you than me just saying thanks for praying for Fr. Allard (and his chaplain assistant too)

Would you mind if I present you to St. Padre Pio + more?
I’m running out of time, so please reply with an answer on this thread by Thurs; but not by PM b/c I may miss your message. Of course I’m presenting Fr. Allard to the care of all holy Saints and holy places and in daily Mass. He reminds me of my father’s determination; so I’ll never forget him.

Elizabeth Hennigan says "YES!!!"

and “THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!” 😃

Novena to Padre Pio for Fr. Allard – 7th DAY

Blessed St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have worked in “God’s Plan for Salvation”, by offering your sufferings to free sinners from the chains of the Devil. We beg you to pray for Fr. Allard, so that unbelievers will be converted to the faith, that all sinners will repent in their hearts and that those with lukewarm hearts will find renewed enthusiasm for a Christian life. Finally, pray for all those who are faithful, so that they will persevere on their way to salvation.

“ If the people of the World could only see the beauty of ones soul when it is in the grace of God, all sinners and unbelievers of this world would be instantly converted”. Padre Pio

👋

An intention such as that carries very much love, because we desire the spiritual well-being of the other living person.

So please don’t be too disappointed that this is not actually permitted.(Lots of other prayers are possible . Also I do remember reading something in the Divine Mercy about praying the Divine mercy Chaplet by the bedside of a dying person. I’ll see if I can find it. We should bear in mind that this would be based on a revelation to St. Faustina though).

Norm # 3 from the **Handbook of Indulgences, *Norms And Grants ***(1991 , Catholic Book Publishing Co. , NY) states :
  1. No one gaining an indulgence may apply it to other living persons.
For the sake of argument, some assert that this does not necessarily have to be the interpretation of Canon 994, which states :

All members of the faithful can gain indulgences, partial or plenary, for themselves, or they can apply them by way of suffrage to the dead.

However, that argument is, in large part, unfounded, because indulgences have not so much to do with technicalities as they do with intention.

When we gain an indulgence for ourselves, we desire to gain the indulgence; we are open to it and we express/manifest/confirm our desire and/or openess by fulfilling the conditions required to gain the indulgence. Unfortunately we cannot be certain that another living person whom we wished to gain the indulgence for or apply it to would also desire that indulgence, or be completely open to it … no matter how holy they might appear to be on the outside.

That being said, there is no *Unused or Unapplied Indulgence Department *in Purgatory. The holy souls long to be with our Blessed Lord with a longing so intense that we couldn’t understand it unless we were there. Indulgences help bring the holy souls into that unspeakable joy in the arms of Our Heavenly Father.

So, if I were, for example, to gain an indulgence and then through our Blessed Mother, apply it to a soul in Purgatory, adding, “Blessed Mother could this soul please intercede for [such and such a person]”, I would be enlisting a powerful prayer ally and gaining a new friend forever grateful.

Speaking of Our Blessed Mother, it is the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows today. She is the patroness of Father Allard’s Order. He belongs to the Order of Servites (o.s.m.) or as they are known in French, Les Servites de Marie. newadvent.org/cathen/13736a.htm

Father Allard will have concelebrated the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows with the Chaplain today. That will make 8 consecutive times he has concelebrated and presided as scheduled. During those times, there were certainly some wrinkles and some difficult situations, but it apparently wasn’t anything your / our prayers couldn’t handle … :grouphug:. Father Allard said he welcomes your prayers.

Thank-you and God bless each and every one praying on this thread. I’ll try to check back in a few days.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now,
And at the hour of our death.

AMEN.

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant, Fr Allard., for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he may give thanks to Thee in Thy church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

**Acts of the Apostles ** , 4: 29-31a ; [DRV]

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant unto thy servants, that with all confidence they may speak thy word,

By stretching forth thy hand to cures, and signs, and wonders to be done by the name of thy holy Son Jesus.

And when they had prayed, the place was moved wherein they were assembled; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with confidence.

And the multitude of believers had but one heart and one soul:

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now,
And at the hour of our death.

AMEN
