I Love fr. Corapi. What a catechist(sp?) he is. Could ya just love to hear that booming voice every Sunday!!
I’ve been thinking the very same thing. God is speaking to us - His Catholic Church - start listening, people.I don’t know anything about his order and what they are typically ‘assigned to’ (parishes, missions, missionary work ,etc.) but I would dare say that Fr Corapi, by the work he does and how he does it, is able to reach millions and share authentic Catholicism. He’s on fire for God and the Church and although I’d love to have him as a pastor and hear a homily each week, I think he’s serving the kingdom in a way that is desperately needed right now.
In my bible study class last week I mentioned that it may be more than coincidence that at a time when our Church is being hit hard - the priest scandal, shortage of priests, unorthodoxy abounding in many areas of the country and the world by both religious and lay people - we are also being blessed with some of the most gifted, outspoken, and orthodox Catholics we’ve seen in a long time (many of them converts by the way)…Scott Hahn, Tim Staples, Jimmy Akin, Rosalind Moss, Fr. Corapi, David Currie, Tim Gray, Jeff Cavins, etc. I don’t know God’s plan, but I can’t help but think we’re seeing it slowly unfold, and that He’s assuring us the gates of hell will not prevail.

I was at a Marian Conference where Fr. Larry Richards followed Fr. Pablo Straub and Fr. Corapi. Fr. Larry began by joking about how tough it was to follow those two. The joke got a roar and from that point on it only got louder throughout his lecture.i would love to see him when he comes to illinois in march. I’m really diving into Fr. Corapi, Archbishop Fulton Sheen and Fr. Larry Richards right now. They have truly inspired me as a Catholic. If you havent heard or read about them yet go do so. got it get it good!
Katy:DEATH THREATS!!!? Whatever for? Or just crazy people who go after anyone well known?
The Easter Triduum talks are available to download for free fromI’ve never been able to go to any of his missions in person. Sometime back, he had one in North KCMO. I had asked my mom about her helping me go there. But she refused to go that far for it, and i couldn’t afford the amount to get in anyway.
I do have his personal testimony tape, it’s quite powerful. Someday I want to get his Easter Triduum tape. Other than that, I think he has alot of other tapes out as well. For awhile the Leaflet Missal catalog had a listing of something like 24 or 26 of them. If they are anything like the one I have, they’d be great to have!!
When I was in a very difficult situation and very far from home I needed some solid advice. I wrote my pastor and bishop back home but with no response. Finally I wrote Fr. Corapi and he responded with solid words of wisdom. The fruits of his work in my life reach well beyond my view…I do not know if some o fyou about St Luke’s Mission in Buffalo but when I went to go see Fr Groeschel, Amy (the foundress and partner with another man) spoke quite passionatly. And she shared that it was through Fr John Corapi’s words that she felt impelled to start St Luke’s Mission. It is thriving and the Lord is providing for all the needs of the poor!
Of course Father John Corapi’s words were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The true beauty is that with modern technology, including the Internet, those of us who live far away from these dynamic teachers can have access to them as well.

fr. corapi is the best -he’s got a great voice too. i like when he says “forever” on ewtn. he’s like fulton sheen for the zeros. anyways, is it true that he’s not allowed to preach in the diocese of sacramento or in any other diocese?
Assuredly, the animosity does not come from those who appreciate his loyalty to the Church. I am sure his message gets heard by many who do not follow the Faith so honestly, or work contrary to it.Niavete, I suppose, but who is so outraged by Fr.Corapi that he needs bodyguards, etc.? I am not arguing that he does need them, but can’t understand that much animosity for a loyal priest.
I don’t beleve that is an accurate assessment – I do know that recently when I heard him speak on his program, he did mention that his messages were not always welcome, that he would continue to preach regardless of the “woolly” truths some would like and that included some bishops. So I did gather that “some” bishops may have objected to his message. That didn’t surprise me one bit – and as long as men like Fr. Corapi are around – the church is indeed in good hands.fr. corapi is the best -he’s got a great voice too. i like when he says “forever” on ewtn. he’s like fulton sheen for the zeros. anyways, is it true that he’s not allowed to preach in the diocese of sacramento or in any other diocese?
