I Love Corapi but this really disapointed me. He should take notes on what to do in the face of a trial from the priest below in my signature.
I agree. Just WOW.Listing to an updated MP3 from him: theblacksheepdog.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/unleashed_ep106-20-11.mp3
Wow. (and that is meant with no admiration)
Just wow.
Wait.I have never been a fan of Fr Corapi especially when one of the first things i ever heard him utter on public radio was that while in the seminary a priest told him that he did not believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and that many others do not either.
Ohhhh Kaayyy. Here come the conspiracy theorists.Only time will tell where all this is headed, but I honestly think it is part of a bigger agenda.
Just wanted to be sure. There is a good book about how feminist sisters forced nuns to live in commercial housing, get jobs, and a whole host of other things. It is called Sisters in Crisis. Over a period of time, the sisterhood diminished in large part because there weren’t that many orders living in community.Of course. Why would I except them?
:bighanky:Yes, I think he should too. After reading the NCR article, which I think was very fair, I am very uncomfortable with him leaving the priesthood.
I will not remain a follower now that I know more details, but will be praying for his soul, and hopefully his repentance, his obedience to his order, and return to the priesthood.
This is one lesson for me, because I thought he was the perfect priest, yet all of us are sinners and its unfair to put any priest on a pedestal like I did. St. John Vianney, please pray for him. And St. Michael the Archangel, please keep him out of Satan’s claws.
That is part of the problem. A claim like that is scandalous, especially without giving solid evidence to support the accusation. He is honest, however, about “certain” bishops (which he did not name) who made a precipitous decision to destroy him without proof and without a complete investigation.
And you held that against Fr. Corapi? Why? Is he now responsible for what others say? Why does the heretic get a pass in your mind?I have never been a fan of Fr Corapi especially when one of the first things i ever heard him utter on public radio was that while in the seminary a priest told him that he did not believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and that many others do not either. …
Wow Catholicguy. That’s a powerful picture! I’ve never seen it.I Love Corapi but this really disapointed me. He should take notes on what to do in the face of a trial from the priest below in my signature.
Oh i know i never seen it before but i found it in a book about the mexican martyrs Very inspiringWow Catholicguy. That’s a powerful picture! I’ve never seen it.
Me too, butHe said that the Church never helped him. I have seen this before, not the Church but my own employer.
And you held that against Fr. Corapi? Why? Is he now responsible for what others say? Why does the heretic get a pass in your mind?
I hold nothing against John Corapi. He is a human being just as I am.
It is supposed to stir people up. Are the faithful suppose to roll over when Satan infiltrates the Church? As long as no names are mentioned, he’s just doing his job. He once told of a Catholic Church [unnamed] that had a woman on the cross over the altar and crystals in the holy water founts. When asked, the pastor said why these strange things were in the church: “The woman on the cross symbolizes the oppression of women by the church; the crystals were for power because we need all of it we can get.”I think honestly he should not be saying those things on public radio. It just stirs people up. …
Thank you.REMINDER
Gossip and innuendo, disrespect toward clergy and religious, and speculating about what did or did not happen are not part of the mission of this apostolate. This apostolate exists to communicate the Catholic Faith, to provide people with a safe environment where they can learn from each other and enjoy themselves while discussing the faith.
Please limit your discussions to what is indeed public knowledge.
So it would be OK if I held you responsible for what someone else said, even outside of court?I hold nothing against John Corapi. He is a human being just as I am.
Something just left me feeling uneasy when I heard him say that. …
Kind of amusing, since he has always considered himself a ‘man’s man.’Many of us, have for years respected Fr Corapi. I was never that big of fan, but he always seemed to appeal to women more than men.
