I fully concur that anyone criticizes Fr Corapi may be liable to judgement…as with any other priest…

It also goes for the priests with their own authorities…and are liable for judgment. I do agree with that also.

What Fr corapi said about any bishop is not right, but what we say about him doesn’t make it even more right…

Our own actions and words will be present to the Lord and scanned through the lens of true love as only the Lord can do at our own particular judgment…Lord have mercy!

What you are accusing him of doing, you are doing yourself!

Mother’s name was given as Veronica (sounds like Monica) in the Welcome Home book. I cannot see that any Veronica Corapi existed. He has mentioned burying his father on September 11. According to the Social Security death index, no Corapis died anytime immediately preceding 9/11. Public records of his family are elusive.

Not all deaths are listed in the SSDI. And no census record is 100% accurate – any long-time genealogist can give you multiple stories of people missing, or listed under their middle name instead of first name, or names horribly misspelled . . .

Yep, I have encountered the horrible mispellings with my own ancestors. That is why I said “elusive.” I dug for a few hours with no luck. 🤷 But I am no professional, that’s for sure.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this wholeheartedly. Something has quite obviously been rotten in Denmark for sometime now. Too many things have not been adding up.

It is disappointing that the SOLT had to put this information in the public forum. I would imagine that they had resisted it but eventually felt that they had no choice in the matter. Hopefully some good can come of their releasing this information in that otherwise faithful Catholics who have been blindly following the Black Sheep Dog will wake up a bit and return to the fold of the Church. More than anything in this situation I am worried for the souls which could be led astray and lost. Perhaps this may provide the nudge for those who were heading that way to break away from that dangerous road? I hope so.

Satan knew where he was weakest and made absolutely certain that it was given him.

He had all three, sex, fame, and fortune thrown in his direction.

How many of us fall for only one?

Further they have made certain no one can check their facts.

I’m actually pretty sure he was criticizing Voris’ blanket assault on Voris’ fellow Catholic pundits who criticize the BlackSheepDawg…

I’ll give you that this thread and its predecessor is immense.

So you probably have not read through all of it.

And likely missed some of my sharpest critiques of Corapi.

My biggest problem with the video that was posted was the ambiguity.
Accusations abound of all kind of wikedness, but neither a name, reference, or source to check is to be found.
In a word, garbage.

They were addressing the CatholicTV video I believe. That video was very critical of various catholic bloggers comments against Fr. Corapi.

Are you implying his culpability is lessened if he was singled out by Satan?

We also read that too whom much is given, much is expected.

Yes, I didn’t link to the article. I am just conserned reading that some here seem to still be unmoved even given the growing mountain of evidence that something is “ofoot”.

I also seem some calling for folks not to judge, when judgement is never in short supply for those priests and Bishops who are felt to be “too Liberal”.

Father Pffleger comes to mind.
