I saw him in person at the Men’s Conference in Wisconsin. He’s incredible. He delivers an important message and seems to know how to add humor to it in the appropriate places.

I try and listen to a talk or one of his homilies most days. I love that one where he talks to a complaining, grumpy parishioner who tells him that if he doesn’t come to Mass to ‘love’ people. Fr Larry informs him that in that case he is going to go to hell. Because Jesus gave one command, “Love God and love your neighbour as yourself.”

And another one where he tells us we must pray for our enemies and ask God to help us see that person the way He sees them. I work with this one woman whose mission in life seems to be to p### everyone off. Now I pray for her every time I think of her.

Fr Larry is doing amazing things for my spiritual growth.

Other than Relevant Radio, what site do you go to to listen to Fr. Larry?

He is the nicest guy that you could ever meet. I had the chance to meet him at a Mission last year and he could not have been nicer. He took the time to talk to me and my family and was very hospitable, very kind, very easy going. His mission was AMAZING!! Check out www.thereasonforourhope.org and you can order his mission series on VHS, well worth the price of admission 👍

I’ve heard Fr Larry Richards on Relevant Radio but am glad I read this thread and saw the free CD’s! I ordered some for me, and to share with my friends! It was so great to be able to pay what I can for these CD’s!! Often times I find things that I really want to read or listen to, but the cost keeps me from ordering. Thankfully there is a generous Catholic contributor to our local library and many titles are available there, but also many are not:(

Thank you everyone!

Michele

I also found out today that on his website www.thereasonforourhope.org you can sign up on the website and listen to homilies dating back to 2001.

What a blessing, check it out, he is so awesome!!! He just lifts me up when I listen to him talk!

God Bless Fr. Larry!!

He is amazing. I heard him speak at a nearby Lenten mission last spring, and he was an incredible, inspiring speaker. The church was packed every night of the mission. His CD’s are great - his “Confession” CD is a wonderful way to prepare for confession. This man is a great example of the priesthood.

Fr Larry is doing a Parish Mission on the other side of town next week. Even though it’s not my parish…I’m going.

I would recommend going EVERY NIGHT!! He is awesome and he is a very humble man. When he did a mission at our old parish, we went to 3 out of 4 nights and WOW!! We were able to talk to him and he could not have been nicer.

Thanks for the update about the website, I have signed up and downloaded the Truth to my mp3 player…wow, The Truth at my fingertips.

👍

I WISH I could make it every night, but the truth is, it’s about 20 miles away, I’d have to get a babysitter (of which the only one we use is my mother-in-law), and my daughter has to get up at 6:30 AM to go kindergarten (Catholic School, of course). So, I’m grateful that everything lines up that I can attend the ONE session.

I listened to both his CDs from the Mary Foundation on Confession and the Mass explained. I liked it. I thought his teachings were very good and he kept my attention by adding humor.

I pray that you can make it. When he was at our old parish, it was 30 miles away, thank God for in laws to watch the kids.

If you make it to the sessions, it will be one of the GREATEST experiences of you life. You can hold me to that.

Fr. Larry Richards is awesome! I listen to him over the internet on Relevant Radio every day at 8PM Eastern Time/7PM Central Time.

Along with Fr. Corapi and Fr. Altier, these 3 priests are my all time favorite Priests to listen to!
http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Agree.gif about all three but Fr. Altier hasn’t been heard in about a year now 😦 if not more.

You can read about it here.

Fr. Robert Barron is on Relevant Radio. His “Word on Fire” Homilies are aired on Sundays at 8:30AM CT. 😃 His style is different but I enjoy listening to his homilies a lot. You can download past homilies on his website. 👍

You can hear Father Larry on Relevant Radio every day at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT!
Thanks! And, thank you to all who kept bumping this thread, so that I could eventually read it. I didn’t know I could listen to him every day.

My favorite CD is Confession. Wow! I had my teens listen to it too…in fact, since I gave away my CD to a non-Catholic I better order another one. We need to hear it again…and again.

I love the story about carrying the calf on his shoulders. Yuck! But, it really drives home the point. For those who haven’t heard it, I won’t say more. Get the CD! 👍

God bless,
Robert
