Part 7/7:

Fellow Muslims, Jesus came for all the nations not only Jewish:
Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20).
Notice the word “All Nations”, and Jesus disciples spoke with different languages (including Arabic) (Acts 2:1-12), so we have no excuse to say we did not understand or that wasn’t addressed for us.

I know by now you would say that I’m blaspheming and some of you might want my head per our Islamic law, but I tell you, I have a very stable life and decent job here in Saudi Arabia, and there is no missionary or any Christian person supporting me of any sort (except their prayers now on this forum), I’m only searching for the true God, I don’t want to be fooled by devil, remember fellow Muslims that Satan brought us down from Paradise, do you think he would stop there, Satan wants us also with him in hell.

So far I’m still practicing all Islamic faith obligations, and believe me its the hardest and most difficult decision which I might take in my entire life, do you think that its easy to change someone’s religion after all these years in the heart of Islam with decent life and throwing everything behind to start a new life!, but I tell you the truth, Jesus love & words have changed my life, I’m convinced 90% that the Bible is from the Most High God, and all the other books are from the earthy god (devil), my remaining 10% is to investigate on the differences between Christian denominations and to verify the original Bible scriptures date (to offset the claims by Quran that the Bible is altered), if I can prove that the OT books written somewhere in the 1500BC-200BC and the NT books around 30AD-200AD (remember that Islam started in 610AD) or (if I get any sign from the Most High God or Jesus, I’m praying daily for that), then that will help me convince my family and my close friends about the true religion, and upon that I will convert to Christianity, because simply I don’t want to lose myself, as Jesus says “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?” (Luke 9:25), and I want to be in the Kingdom of God “.…But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:31-33).
  • A lost sheep seeking the Kingdom of God,
    Sam*
P.S:
To Saudi Arabia: Thanks for all the earthy stuff you gave me, but I knew you by your fruit.
To my parents: Please forgive me if you think I’m doing wrong here, but believe me my flesh is resisting this and telling me to stop, but my soul is willing, I know its hard for you to understand this after all this age, but please forgive me.
**To my brothers, sisters, and relatives: **please forgive me also for this, I know you would say how dare that I’m doing that, but please let us set together and discuss it point by point.
** To my close friends: **I know most of you believe what I’m saying since we have already discussed that before, thank you for all your support and understanding.
**To my fellow Muslims: **forgive me but I’m not repelling against you or against the Muslims in Saudi Arabia, but what can I do, Jesus love have touched my heart.
**To The Most High God: **Firstly, thank you for showing me your love through your son Jesus, secondly, if you asked me on the judgment day why I’ve converted to Christianity, here is my reply to you:
  1. My soul was extensively shedding tears whenever it hears Jesus words, but not in the case when I read Quran.
  2. Jesus was saying that he is the first and last, the alpha and omega.
  3. Jesus said “its finished” when he was crucified, it means to me no religion should come after that.
  4. Jesus said "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?".
  5. I did not find your love in Islam I was fearing you only, but Jesus taught me how to love you.
  6. My flesh did extensive research and analyses using the brain you gave me, and at the end the logic shifted toward Christianity.
  7. My flesh was asking for the accuracy of the Bible scriptures, and when I verified that I converted (or when you gave me the sign), I didn’t convert instantly.
  8. Please forgive me if I did a mistake, but that all my limitations, when my soul & flesh agreed, I have converted, I beg your mercy and forgiveness.

The Holy Spirit has entered you. I think Jesus is calling you to him.
Pray and let him guide you. He is calling many Muslim and many are converting. Peace.
Respected “Righteousone”,

Thank you for all your kind words.
Sam, what is your conclusion after posting this for all to figure out that the Quran is wrong? What is your point with this thread? Which book do you want to follow? You cannot follow both books.
My answer is in Part7/7.
I can assure you that Catholics never badmouth another religion in any of our Church services, and most certainly *NEVER, EVER *curse another religion.
Respected “GemmaRose”,

I know that, from your fruit I knew you.
Why? God is calling you and better yet, you have heard him!! Hearing the truth will complete your life and set you free. I will pray for you.
Respected “carriel”,

Thank you very much, but my flesh still resisting.
Wow Sam… WHat a Testament to the love of God! Our Lord is so wonderful and powerful that he can take a soul such as yours that had been poisoned to Christianity for 33 yrs and give you a heart of love for him… what more needs to be said?
Respected “BlestOne”,

Yes indeed, the love Jesus gave to me, I haven’t encounter it in all my life in Islam.
Welcome and hello. I cannot answer WHY God does what He does, but I can say that you are on a journey to be closer to Him than you ever thought possible.

We all have a longing in our soul. One that can only be satisfied with God. We may think that we have filled it, only to find later that we still long. This is what is happening with you.

May God bless you.
Respected “ralphinal”,

Thank you for your kind words, I hope my journey ends well.
Sam, the course you are on will require great courage - courage that will be given you by the Holy Spirit as you come to the Light of Christ. God bless you on your journey to Him!

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.” John 14:1
Respected “FCEGM”,

I know, I just want any sign from the Most High God or Jesus.
While some of the discussins here can get a little contentious, I encourage you to ask questions. There are many here who will be happy to answer honest questions, politely asked, with an equally polite answer.
Respected “rpp”,

Yes indeed, I will ask a lot of questions.
Sam, your post brought tears to my eyes. You are in a dangerous country to be exploring Christianity so please, please be careful. I will pray for you that the Holy Spirit will watch over you and protect you.
Respected “ibkc”,

I know that, but believe me if I would die because I loved Jesus & the Most High God, then welcome to this death on the hands of devil.
If your telling the truth I think it’s wonderfull you’re finding a religion you feel comftoriable in, it’s great you think you have found some great higher meaning or whatever, however your story strikes me as suspicisious to say the least
Respected “IvanKaramozov”,

Yes, I’m telling the truth.
Sam, I bid you peace and welcome. I will pray that you continue to hear and follow the L_rd G_D.
Respected “Muzhik”,

Thank you very much, I think you are a Jewish from the “God” writing, that means you are the first Jewish I talk to in my entire life, I hope you give me your insights about Isaac & Ishmael descendants.
Sam777, If you want to visit another Christian country, ive got a suggestion for you. This year in Sydney, Australia, we are hosting world youth day.
Respected “dolphinlove”,

Thank you for your invitation, but sorry I cannot attend such events for the time being.
But, i do have a question, if you are from Saudi, how do you get access to this site? I thought sites like this would be filtered and banned in a country like Saudi??
Yes indeed, its a matter of time before this site is blocked, devil will not let me alone.
Sam,

From Issa to Jesus, welcome back 🙂 we hear of many in SA turning to Christ…i’m glad we have one on our forum…👍
Respected “inJESUS”,

Thank you very much for your kind words, It’s my honor also to post here.
Respected Vickie,

Thank you for answering X-Christians, and showing the truth.
The newest Saint in Heaven, if not yet in the church, Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho, is praying for Sam_777 even as we debate! As the Archbishop’s life had a loving purpose, so does his death have a loving and eternal purpose! Archbishop Rahho, pray for us. Amen! Alleluia!
Respected “po18guy”,

Thank you very much for your prayer.

Well then Muhammad couldn’t have been just quoting other sources, could he?
in this case, historically speaking, no. After all, he did not quote absolutely everything. There are things he invented.
Don’t you find it stange that absolutely no scripture, no tradition, no historical evidence mention such an important thing if it did indeed happen?

btw, thank you for the pm.

Sam, God Bless you on your journey. I will pray for you. If you do decide to convert to Christianity, perhaps you’d be happiest with refuge in Rome. It is very holy there, and our pope is the successor to St. Peter.
I would write to the Vatican if I were you and they will answer you, as they have answered my letters. I went and had an audience with the pope in October last year.
You need to be around people who feel the same as you feel. I felt at home in Rome, with my own people. No fear, bishops and priests just scurrying around, it was fantastic.
And feel no guilt, if there wasn’t a calling for you, you wouldn’t feel as you do. Peace.

Prayers for you Sam in this journey towards the Lover of Mankind, who loves all human beings, the saints and the sinners :gopray2:

God bless,

Rony

P.S. A message for tomshaikh: Jesus loves you! 🙂

Sam al-aziz :),

I understand what you are going through. He is calling you and He knows the perfect time for you to be baptised in His church 🙂

I know Arabic, i live in the Middle East, i have Christian friends in SA as well…if you like to contact me about anything, please do not hesitate…

Mabrouk in advance 🙂

I think crediblity is something important here in the forum if we want to be taken seriously by other posters.
She made a comment in passing, which is essentially the same comment I’ve made at least a thousand times in the past 12 months. You don’t have to be religious to realize that modern society is vulgar and panders to the lowest common denominator. You merely have to flip on MTV.

Let’s forgive Amy for not having an eidetic memory, and perhaps hold her to the same standard we expect. I doubt I’d recall precisely every word I wrote in the last 6 weeks.

Why don’t you guys write a scholarly criticism of Islam, from the Catholic or Christian perspectives. I’d love to read something like that.

Sam_777,

Know that, like Peter, you have received a Divine Revelation. You are surrounded by those who fear God, and you also fear Him. But, only God Himself can penetrate such a barrier and speak to your heart the words of truth and love. You have tested everything, and retained the good, as Saint Paul advised us to do. You have seen the light of the world in Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for everyone who would believe in Him. You felt the emptiness in your heart. The merciful and loving Lord, Who has revealed the truth to you, will now shield and protect you in your pilgrimage.

The Hand of the Lord is at work in the Middle East. He is greatly troubled when he sees the hardness of heart and bloodshed. He placed one of His servants, Chaldean Catholic Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho in the midst of the terror, knowing that his words of peace would be put to good use. The Archbishop was martyred, not only for the glory of God, but to plant the same seed of peace that your have found in Jesus’ words.

Luke 9:23-24 Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”
  1. Deny ourselves. You have done this to an amazing degree. You have placed your very head at risk, being surrounded by many who would shed your blood as an apostate. You denied everything that you learned about God in your life, and listened to His words of love and hope, spoken through His Only Son.
  2. Take up our cross daily. You are also doing that, struggling to believe, embracing Him even while not 100% sure in your own mind. You have placed the burden of your sin on your shoulder, begging forgiveness from God Himself, and begging pardon from those whom you may have offended. But, rest assured that He will support you and reveal all truth to you, growing your faith along your journey.
  3. Follow Christ. This is the third step we take on the path to righteousness. This is hard to do even in a Christian nation. But you have come to know the power of God’s love. It will strengthen you at all times.
I shall pray fervently for you and ask Archbishop Rahho, who is in God’s presence, to pray for you. There can be no turning back, and remember that an eternity of joy in God’s presence is worth many lifetimes of suffering.

May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the Love of God the Father come upon you and remain with you for ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Beautiful words po18guy! 🙂

Archbishop Mar Paulus of Mosul, pray to God for us!

God bless,

Rony

Rony, are you an Arab?
inJESUS,

I am a Chaldean. Chaldeans and Assyrians are the natives of Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq). Abraham was called out from us as written in Gen. 11:31. Arabs and Israelites are direct descendants from Abraham.

So to answer the question, no I am not an Arab, because I am not a direct descendant of Abraham, that is, according to the flesh. But since he was a Chaldean, then he would be considered I guess you can say our “foreuncle” rather than “forefather”, and his direct descendants the Israelites and Arabs are our “cousins”.

God bless,

Rony

thank you 🙂 well actually i should have asked if you speak Arabic as native language, because i do, though am not sure if i can be called an Arab, as you said .

I came out of Iraq when I was eleven years old, so I did grow up learning Arabic in the primary school. I still speak it with my family/relatives/friends alongside English and Chaldean-Aramaic.

I consider my level of Arabic as conversational rather than fluent. I have a Bible in Arabic that I sometimes check, but I usually read the Bible in English for faster comprehension.

So, my Arabic level is good, but my English is better 🙂

God bless,

Rony

No problem with that, not at all. But your sister denied she ever said that (she even bold and the magnified the word ever!) Only when it wass pointed out to her, her own very post, that she admitted saying it and apologized.

I think crediblity is something important here in the forum if we want to be taken seriously by other posters.
I agree, and I was wrong. I admitted I was wrong. I apologize for my mistake–my mistake being that I forgot I had said it.

If you can remember everything you’ve ever written, then bravo. I can’t, I’m sorry.

Don’t you find it stange that absolutely no scripture, no tradition, no historical evidence mention such an important thing if it did indeed happen?
No, I don’t. There are a number of other traditions of “important things” which are not documented by other scripture, tradition, or historical evidence. For example, the birth of Mary. Or for that matter, the birth of Jesus which clearly differs from the accounts in Matthew and Luke.

The fact that there is no other evidence is to me not strange but proof of the Qur’an really.
btw, thank you for the pm.
you’re welcome.

I would like to point out, however, that you vehemently called another person a “liar”, but no apology for that has been forthcoming.

She called the other poster a liar for pointing out her “mistake.”

I would like to point out, however, that you vehemently called another person a “liar”, but no apology for that has been forthcoming.
The definition of a lie is make a statement knowing that it is false with the intent to deceive. Making an incorrect statement, is not a lie if the person believes it to be true. Calling someone a liar because they may have said something is the one believes to be false is most certainly an unkind thing to do.

Unless you are a Moslem talking to a non-Moslem as Moslems are permitted in the Koran to make false statements to non-Moslems regarding Islam in an effort to either protect Islam or to convert the non-Moslem.

I would like to point out, however, that you vehemently called another person a “liar”, but no apology for that has been forthcoming.
I hope Vickie will accept my apology for calling her a liar.

It has not been my intent on this site ever to lie to anyone despite the fact that I hear a constant refrain from my opponents that I actively engage in deception. I was not trying to lie, simply defending myself.

And I was mistaken. Sorry for my mistake.
