I think it is amazing the accomplishments he has made considering the hostility he
has faced from the democrats and some republicans. I have hope for what he can do
in 2018. May God be with him as he leads our country.
 
I agree! The left is being exposed for the whiny desperados that they are.Trump has proved his mettle.To enjoy success and forge ahead in spite of all the petty distractions coming from those who just cannot get over the fact that he is our president

He has occupied the office of POTUS for a year. We know that others in that situation have had much better ratings. Much better.

Yea, but they have tried to destroy him for the past year and the media coverage has been 90% negative - part of their strategy.

So, many believe. But it’s hard to know for sure. Nobody had him winning the presidency except, as I recall, the L.A. times, and largely blamed his personality for his certain loss. He won, though.

His certain loss? There you go again. No pollster predicated a certain loss.

And while many criticized his character, IIRC Trump himself promised to change and become Presidnential - the best ever, no doubt. I suspect that some reluctant supporters thought he might be a different man as President. They were mistaken.

The predictions were close enough to “certain loss” to count, and right up to election night.

It’s presently impossible to know, but I question that any significant number of his supporters expected him to turn into something he isn’t. “Presidential” is very much in the eye of the beholder. And possibly some who voted for him did so reluctantly, but I don’t think we know that either.

There is no such thing as a certainty in statistics. I saw odds of 1/3 to 1/20. I never draw to an inside straight but some do, and sometimes they prevail.
