Fire Emblem is turn-based strategy. It’s good for people like me that like a challenge but have no reflexes. 😃

With regard to this entire conversation, I think that it’s important not to ignore either the good or the bad in our media. I have played many games that had problematic themes in them, but which also had plenty of good stuff in them, too. It just depends which side is having the greater effect on you, and whether you think it’s a worthy use of your time. 🤷

Did this thread get revived because E3 is this week? 🙂 I think tomorrow is the Nintendo Direct that I’m greatly looking forward to.

Well, one thing I do know: I certainly wasn’t thinking about the E3 when I posted. Apart from Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Tetsuya Nomura’s supposed arrival to E3, I’m not particularly sure what to expect anymore.

I honestly was on the fence for a while. i love my playstation but with all the drm and so forth it seemed better to just stick with PC.

After last night though at the PS4 media release I’m quite content to say Sony has my money.

It’s good to see Sony learned their lesson from the PS3 and have priced the PS4 much lower for launch. Of course, I’m sure a lot of that has to do with the fact that BluRay was brand new technology back in 2006 whereas now it is much more established and there’s nothing new on the horizon that Sony would replace it with.

And on that happy note, the closure of Kingdom Hearts I – i.e. Kingdom Hearts III – is coming out for PS4! 😃

My favorite has to be my SNES or my N64. Zelda: A Link to the Past and Zelda: Ocarina of Time were amazing games!

By the way, I would suggest that everyone check out the deals at humblebundle.com. They have lots of games on sale all the time in packs, and you pay however much you want. Some of the games have a retro feel, and some are even popular modern games.

Normally each pack has 8 games… a portion of them you will get for any amount (even $1), but if you pay above the average that people have paid so far (normally around $5) you get the other games as well. It’s an incredibly cheap way to expose yourself to lots of games!

ALSO: If you haven’t seen them already, check out the Oculus Rift (www.oculusvr.com/‎) and the Omni (www.gizmag.com/virtuix-omni-treadmill-vr/27214/‎) to see the possible future of gaming! The hype is huge, and people say it is justified!
