Many parts of the Bible is fantasy world. Don’t believe me? Google INCONSISTANCIES OF THE BIBLE. Transsexuals are intersexuals. They are real men and real women. They are no longer living as man, because they are now real woman, just like you Christians changed the name of Yeshua, the name that has power to cast out the demons in you, into jesus. Its clear you Christians like turning the truth into a lie. Here, let me create an a.k.a for you… your new name will now be, “CrazyDodo.” Would it make a man gay if he has sex in marriage with a transsexual-intersexual who was born with a penis and a vagina? What happen, you stuck on stupid… Lets see how many doctors and priests and rabbi’s odered or opinion the mutilation of transsexual-intersexuals. Dude, you’re crazy like orthodox. You must be a traditional old fart.

So a man having a sexual relationship with a little girl makes him straight? Yeah, I don’t think so.

This is so tasteless and tactless that it’s actually unintentionally hilarious.

You seem to quite an expert on this topic, although I’m trying to figure out how.
Of course he would be straight. But most men do not have interest in small girls, while many gays have interest in teen boys . Though most gays don’t have interest in small boys-there are more gays who have interest in small boys vs. men who have interest in small girls. More lesbians have interest in small girls vs. a woman who has interest in teen boys.

Well it’s truth. With Russian men (though I would think it’s for most men), Russian men on average like a woman who is plump but not obese. Since women to put on weight in 20s as metabolism for women slows down before men’s, Russian men tend to like woman with some weight. While runway models are thin, talking to men, most men like women with a little bit of weight but not obese. Since an 18 year old girl is thinner than a 24 year old woman, most men would want the 24 year old woman.

From the times I have known gays, gays like teenagers (usually 18 or 19 -barely legal) to men in early 20s. It’s truth that gays like men who are boyish looking-those who still have a full head of hair and acne-there are many gays who have interest in 16 year old teenagers-such as Milk and Liberace. Once the acne clears, a man’s hairline recedes, full grown beard and so on such as in mid 20s, gays begin to lose interest because he looks too old. People often think that because a gay has had a partner for 20 years, that it is their only relationship. That often is not the case because their relationship often involves bringing teenagers to men in early 20s to their homes for parties. Of course if they are bringing teenagers (below consent age) to their house, they’re generally not going to incriminate themselves. InSearchofGrace in a part of her post brought up this truth and I reinforced this. All this is old information and InSearchofGrace did a good post.

I’m not convinced this sort of phenomenon is measurably any different for heterosexual men. Relative youth is generally considered more sexually attractive. (Also, lots of men never grow beards, have a full head of hair for most of their lives, and never have acne.)

I’m also not sure what makes you such an expert in what constitutes an average object of sexual attraction for pretty much any given group, but you are confident, I’ll give you that.

My point was that if we were to not allowed to talk about issues we had any emotional involvement with, then the only people who would be allowed to talk about abortion would be people who saw no emotional affect from the issue, which would mean only those in favor of abortion could discuss the issue. Hopefully you wouldn’t argue that case. So don’t argue that I’m too “emotionally wrapped up” to discuss this issue; it’s super-offensive.

Also, it is very disappointing and sad that you can’t tell the difference between two loving, consenting adults and pedophilia. Any person who’s studied psychology at all knows pedophilia is orientation-irrelevant. There have been countless #s of heterosexual pedophilic men who dated adult women exclusively but tried to rape little boys; it has nothing to do with homosexuality. I don’t argue that straight men are pedophiles because some men like little girls. That would be ridiculous. Likewise, comparing homosexuals to pedophiles or pederasters is also ridiculous.

Maybe you should go to a Pride festival so you aren’t so biased against people you don’t actually know. I’ve offered the same to many people on this thread, yet no one has taken me up on my offer 🤷. I may agree that it is a sin (as should any practicing Catholic), but I’m not going to defame good people out of ignorance.

Hello All,

This is my first time posting on CAF and I hope everyone will be patient with my limited experience and lack of finesse.

I have read all of the posts on this thread from the beginning and feel that as a Catholic I should make some comments.

First, I would like to thank all the faithful Catholics who have defended the teachings of the Church. Some of you have been very passionate and eloquent while presenting the Truths of our great Faith.

But I must say to some who have claimed to be Catholic that you are doing a great disservice to the Truth and much harm to your own souls. Those who are trying to present homosexuality as being morally neutral, or even worse, as being something positve should be ashamed of themselves. Homosexual orientation is in itself “objectively disordered” and homosexual acts are “acts of grave depravity”. These qoutes are from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and anyone who does not accept these teachings has no right to the name “Catholic”.

One young lady that has been posting seems to be mostly interested in defending the homosexual (I will never say “gay” because that is a positive connotation) lifestyle, even suggesting the orientation is inherently good, all the while claiming to attempt to reach out to young homosexuals with the message of the Catholic faith. Please do not do this in the name of Christ and His Holy Church. It is wrong and you have no right to twist the teachings of the Church.

Another person has stated in their profile that they are “Catholic until they kick me out”. From the way you have responded to the faithful Catholics on this thread and seem to be defending (promoting?) the homosexual agenda it would seem you are already de facto separated from the Church.

Most “Pride festivals are so obscene one can get banned for posting certain images from the,. The paradox of all your posts is your acknowledgement that homosexual behavior is a sin but that those who engage in into our “good” people” You even encourage us to go to a festival celebrating sin- a sin in itself

You should ask yourself why it is that if teenage homosexuals suicide rate is up(a debatable premise) how can that relate to the fact that homosexual behavior enjoys a level of acceptance unparalleled in the history of the country?
A) Pride festivals are not obscene at all; are you thinking about Pride PARADES, which are completely different?. Even then, Pride parades have bad parts (the stereotypical overweight man in two strings of clothing), but still are mostly wholesome. I wouldn’t ask you to go to the gay afterparty, where people who are still awake at 1 am try to mimic the straight club and barscene lifestyle . [And by the way, yes that is sarcasm; I’m merely pointing out that there are promiscuous straights just as there are promiscuous gays. It’s all the same club lifestyle that youth engage in, regardless of orientation.]

B) Going to a Pride festival to observe is not a sin; going to a Pride festival and promoting gay behavior is. Learn the difference.

C) Because teen gays are still stuck in homes of extremely homophobic parents who would rather kick out their child from their home than have them come out, even if the kid isn’t even engaging in the behavior (do some research into the Mormon, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches if you don’t believe me). The kids try hard to completely ignore their orientation, but it’s really hard while simultaneously being around friends of the same gender who don’t understand you at all and parents who talk about how “evil” people with SSAs are. So-called “societal acceptance” means nothing to these kids.

There was no malice or offense intended in saying that being too close to the issue makes it difficult for you to be objective, to see the bigger picture. It was somebody else who said you are too emotionally wrapped up. No matter, you tend to take big offense at just about every turn. Based on what you shared, it is not hard to figure you continue to identify with and are fond of the gay culture. When someone makes a statement you deem unfavorable to gays, you take it as a personal affront.

Your second paragraph is heavy with condescension and I suggest you drop it. Neither am I unschooled nor unread on the subject matter. I also do not lack a good understanding of homosexuality on a personal level. My family has had to deal with an overt homosexual member who lived the lifestyle in San Francisco and went through a world of hurts. The blanket statements in your posts are simply inaccurate, coming from a place of clear bias. I did not posit that all homosexuals are pederasts or pedophiles (pederasty and pedophilia are not identical terms), only that some are, that there is an overlap in homosexuals with attraction crossing ages and gender of potential sex partner (victim, in the case of pedophiles).

As for your repeated invitation that we on this side try attending a gay pride festival, or that we sign onto the complete message of It Gets Better video, produced by Dan Savage, ask yourself why and what for. You are straddling the fence, giving a mixed message on where you stand.

I echo this post by estesbob:

First, welcome to CAF.

Second, may I ask where I said the orientation was “inherently good?” I said the It Gets Better project specifically was, because its entire intent is to avoid the suicide of our gay youth. Just because very few religious have wanted to make videos, leaving a divide in favor of those who promote the behavior, does not negate the good of the project itself.

I am also “defending the homosexual” because gays are usually good people, just as straights are usually good people. They’re just people who commit sin, but most of them don’t even think about it as sin. Would you argue, if you had a college-aged daughter who was engaging in premarital sex without your knowledge, that she was a “bad person” because of it? No, people just get misguided and lost and do bad acts. That doesn’t always make them a bad person. Being a “bad person” is about malice and bad intent, not just committing sin.

There are people here who are arguing that gays are pedophiles, corrupters of our children, and all sorts of other monikers that aren’t remotely true if you’ve actually been around them. I am just defending the character of those who are being needlessly slandered on these forums, not defending their gay relationships.

I’m also not sure what makes you such an expert in what constitutes an average object of sexual attraction for pretty much any given group, but you are confident, I’ll give you that.
If you ask men when women are in their prime, most men will say women in 20s and 30s with 20s being best (roaring 20s), 30s being good and early to mid 40s being a woman’s last final years. Most men do not want a woman to get breast implants, but they happen. Yes, most men like big boobed women, but most men want a woman with natural boobs-small, medium or big vs. a woman with implants. That means all things =, you have a woman with small boobs vs. a woman with breast implants, most men
would take the woman with smaller boobs because she is natural. Runway models have small boobs. Incidentally, if it were my druthers, would also get rid of breast implants, Viagra, tubals and vasectomies-because those are artificial and not about curing anything. I support birth control, fertility treatments and IVF (as a non-Catholic I can support all this w/o critique).

You did get some parts right by talking about youth by just asking me. Hope this does not violate T.O.S. so will say as clean as possible. I have found by asking men born 1979 or later if they like to see pubic hair on a woman and many if not most I have found tell me no. For me this is odd-a man who wants a woman who looks like she is a 12 year old girl. You need to be an expert and you can learn as much as I do just by asking people. Go into the gym and ask men what they find as beautiful-you can learn a lot and just by asking and getting answers. Men born after 1979 have different view on what they like to see on a woman vs. a man born before that year.

Yes, you are right, not all men grow beards (most shave them), not all men have acne into 20s (most men don’t). Hair on most men’s heads do thin (though most don’t go bald) as they have found that by the time a man is in his 30s, he usually has less hair than he did when he was in his teens. With gays, many gays will shave their body hairs to still look youthful. There are gays who admitted to me that they shave their body hairs w/o me asking them. Now I will repeat that if a gay/lesbian wants to do gay/lesbian conduct with other willing adults but not push their views on others and also not get surgically mutilated to become a transsexual (which again is a mutilated gay/lesbian), then it’s their life, their choice. If a gay or lesbian wants help to become straight, then that choice must be there for those who want this-most gay/lesbian groups do not want this choice to be there. Reason Russians have passed these laws against gay/lesbian and transsexual propaganda is because they see the decadence which has happened in nations who have allowed gay/lesbian propaganda. Russia and Uganda are 2 nations who must be praised for work they have done. Anyway, you can learn what I have just by talking with others as I do such as talk to men in gyms, ask them what they find attractive and you can learn a lot.

I said you were defending the homosexual lifestyle not the homosexual.

As to if I had a college age daughter engaging in pre-marital sex I would not call her bad, but I would most definitely let her know that it was a SIN and that sin leads to death. In this day and age people seem to forget that sin is evil and people who commit mortal sin are not just “misguided” but are in danger of Hell.

“But most of them don’t even think about it as sin.” St. Paul makes it clear in his Epistle to the Romans that the natural law is written on our hearts and therefore no one has an excuse to sin. St. Paul particularly refered to homosexuality (giving up the natural for the unnatural) in this epistle.

We must call sin sin.

I think people don’t understand what I do most of the time. I haven’t started so this year, but last year I did a lot of work trying to evangelize in the gay community. I do clarify to gays that I believe it is a sin, yes. But I also try to bring them closer to God. It just really frustrates me, because many are willing to consider it, but are so turned off by religious people who make crazy baseless claims about gay people that they use it to judge the whole Christian religion as false. This is why I defend them on this board, not because I somehow take “personal offense” [in reference to a different poster, not you].

I do not defend the homosexual “lifestyle” in so much as it means gay behavior. I will, however, defend gays against the baseless attacks that all homosexuality is about is promiscuity and drugs, although that ugly assertion has yet to make its way onto this thread. I will also defend gays against the “gays are more likely to be pedophiles because little boys and little girls get molested in similar #s” falsehood, since pedophilic gender preference has nothing to do with the sexuality of the rapist. I have met thousands of gay people in my life, and so seeing people who have one bad experience with gays, misuse statistics, or [worse] use the media’s harsh, judgmental, and incorrect portrayal of gays attack the LGBT community on a basis other than “they’re leading them into homosexual behavior” makes me super-annoyed. I ask them to go to Pride events not to promote the behavior but to observe and learn who gays really are. People don’t want to because it bothers them; that should be more than enough evidence that they probably shouldn’t be giving advice on how to deal with them. Lay people were bothered by lepers back in the day too.

Again, in order for something to be a mortal sin, there has to be knowledge and intent. I do not see both of those things in 95+% of the gays I work with. Most of them want to just live their lives and be able to love someone, and so yes, I have a hard time calling them anything worse than “misguided,” even though I still think of them being in a state of sin, just not necessarily mortal. I also see no reason to join the chorus call of people who feel the need to call gays “evil” or “corrupting” or what have you, because it is uncharitable and all it succeeds in doing is lead gay kids into depression rather than Christianity.

I never said suicides went up. The teen suicide rate has been stable, except for one year a few years ago, which is what the It Gets Better project has been about. What that means is that gay teens still have bad parents who insult gays around them, without thought that their child might be gay (since it actually has nothing to do with sexual abuse, despite crackpot “science” attempts to claim it’s so).

Also, attending something for observation is not sinful, anymore than going to a club on a sociology project into premarital sex is sinful. You are not participating in the event. And observe people, their behavior, their character, etc. Observe that gays at festivals really only go to them to love and support each other, not to do crazy stuff, obscene stuff, or tell America the “one-finger salute.” You’ll see how much the media distorts gay events.

Anyways, I have a flight to catch, so I’ll be gone until Monday and will respond then. God bless you all <3.

I am afraid you have grossly oversimplified what consitutes a mortal sin:

1859 Mortal sin requires full knowledge and complete consent. It presupposes knowledge of the sinful character of the act, of its opposition to God’s law. It also implies a consent sufficiently deliberate to be a personal choice. **Feigned ignorance and hardness of heart133 do not diminish, but rather increase, the voluntary character of a sin.
**
1860 Unintentional ignorance can diminish or even remove the imputability of a grave offense. But no one is deemed to be ignorant of the principles of the moral law, which are written in the conscience of every man. The promptings of feelings and passions can also diminish the voluntary and free character of the offense, as can external pressures or pathological disorders. Sin committed through malice, by deliberate choice of evil, is the gravest.

Honestly? Being celibate is a really, REALLY terrible life. And also honestly? Outside the disobedience to God, I see no negative traits of being gay. However, because I want to obey God out of love, I am currently just refusing to date. I don’t mind feeling trapped and lonely if I do it in His name. But I also understand why kids who have literally heard nothing their whole life but “gay people are evil” or “look at those f*****s” would want nothing to do with a very hard life, when the people promoting the life treat them like dirt for their attractions or treat them like they can change.
I would hate to tell the holy monks and nuns throughout history that being celibate is so terrible. Perhaps they wasted their lives in living for Christ alone?

Disobedience to God is certainly a negative trait of homosexuality. But homosexuality is intrinsically a disorder and therefore is something to be treated and dealt with in ones life. Schizophrenia is also a disorder and (I hope) no one would tell a schizophrenic to just accept his disorder and not treat it. If he didn’t take his medication and stopped therapy he might end up on the street stabbing people because the voices told him to.

If a person commits sin, he is not a “good” person. He may be nice; he may be well dressed and well spoken, but he is not “good.”

Good people are people who do their best to avoid sin, and occupy their time with good works.
One becomes a “bad person” by habitually doing “bad things.” Bad people can be nice, polite, well spoken and well dressed. These qualities do not make them “good.”

With all controversy over Russia’s laws against gay/lesbian propaganda-repeat, they are Russia’s laws and when in Russia, obey Russia’s laws. I have been to San Francisco 5 times-a beautiful city but politics there is wrong-California politics is wrong. If I were to go to San Francisco and tell them that their city is beautiful but their politics are wrong-San Franciscans would tell me that as I don’t live there, it’s their State and city laws. Incidentally, when I asked a San Franciscan how many votes 2000 Presidential candidate Pat J. Buchanan would get in San Francisco, he said 5%. There are people in San Francisco who could support people with views of Presidential candidates Pat J. Buchanan and Sen. Richard J. Santorum, but they would be 5%.

But people who have not been to Russia have been criticizing Russia laws against gay propaganda and Uganda’s laws against homosexuality. Most posters criticizing both nations have never been there and most will not go there. Most don’t even know much about those 2 nations. But let’s see how gay/lesbian topics are covered in American media. No it’s not govt. censorship but how mainstream American media covers gay/lesbian topics is dishonest. Fox News, CNN, ABC, CBS or NBC-all of them including Fox News is pro-gay/lesbian. Most columnists are pro-gay/lesbian. CNN, ABC, CBS or NBC would probably not hire a commentator who is against gay/lesbian agenda.

Most media has for a long time been pro-gay/lesbian. Even those who are against gay agenda such as Rush has not spoken that much against gay agenda since 1990s. The few media who speak regularly against gay/lesbian agenda would be Internet sites, You Tube, religious radio stations such as WRFD. Ellen is 1 sided on gay/lesbian topic as Ellen is lesbian, she to my knowledge has never had an opposing view on this topic and her website censors any with opposing view. Ellen even distorts gay/lesbian topic for propaganda purposes. There are individual lesbians who are fair-TV hostess Rachel Maddow while she has a pro-gay/lesbian bias atleast allows opposing views on her TV show and she does interviews professionally w/o insulting guests. Rachel Maddow is fair enough to give opposing views. Ellen is not. Dan K. Savage is the worst.

Okay what the media does is not govt. censorship but the station and it’s hosts only giving 1 view on gay/lesbian topic. But the idea is to indoctrinate. Gay/lesbian groups get offended when opposing views are given because when people get 1 view repeatedly told in media, when a different view is given, hostility happens because you do not think much and do not know how to react to opposing ideas. Many times when I have commented on this on different sites-gays, lesbian and transsexual posters lecture me on how I must be 1 of those Christians by assuming who I am and not considering that there are non-religious people such as myself who oppose gays, lesbians and transsexuals. While I don’t care if people think I am Christian, people should ask me if I am religious before they comment on something which is not even my faith. Problem with American media, is most are biased and often only give 1 side to this topic and too many people repeat this that they conclude or imply what your religion is without even knowing you. So they have no right to complain about Russia’s laws against gay, lesbian and transsexual propaganda.

Not all have the same religious view and again, my reasons for opposing gay/lesbian and transexuality (the mutilated gays/lesbians) is unrelated to any religious belief. Incidentally something to add-if a person gets a sex change, then you can them either gay or lesbian because they’re both. That means Chastity Bono could be called gay or a lesbian because transexuality is a mutilated gay/lesbian.

Gay/lesbian conduct are bad for health =smoking. AMA and APA are both pro-gay/lesbian ideologues who arrogantly think because are Drs., that they know the answers. But they are dishonest. Paid experts can say things to support gay agenda or any agenda. That happened in Jodi Ann Arias trial where there were paid experts who said that the convicted murderess had transit amnesia, that she was a domestic assault & battery victim and that the victim really was not dead when he was shot in head. Jury did not believe the Drs. who testified for Jodi Ann Arias (they did it for $ and did not care about truth) and they convicted her of Murder 1. The AMA is comparable to this in that they are pro-gay ideologues saying what they know is false. AMA denies link between childhood sex abuse and homosexuality/transexuality but AMA is saying what they know is false.
Gays and transsexuals are more likely to molest children because many were molested as kids. If an adult is having homosexual relations with a young boy-then he is gay-a gay pedophile, pederast or homolester. People must not go to gay pride events just as people must not go to events which celebrate any other bad conduct. Sex changes are a bad thing which sadly happen and is wrong just as it’s wrong to change skin color because a person thinks they’re of another ethnic group. It doesn’t take an expert to know the sex change and hormones given damage the person’s mind and body. That + the fact that many gays and transsexuals were sexually abused as children are the reason they are more likely to sexually abuse children. But bias has meddled with how people regard this topic. Also with child molesters, most people are not going to confess to this crime. A gay who is molesting boys is usually not going to tell his friends/family that he molests kids and most boys who are victimized by gays do not go to police.
If a gay or lesbian is living their own life but not pushing their views on others, most people don’t care. The Russian authorities are passing laws against gay/lesbian propaganda because gay/lesbian propaganda is corrupting. They don’t care about gays and lesbians who live their own lives but don’t push their views on others. But Russian authorities know that gay/lesbian sexual conduct is corruptive and that it’s best to not trust gay/lesbian groups.

It gets Better if dirty, filthy, gay propaganda. If American schools want an honest dialogue on this, then opposing views must be given, though gay/lesbian groups dislike it. That means American schoolkids should have the right to tell a teacher that gays/lesbian sexual conduct is bad and corruptive and that information from homosexual groups is not trustworthy. Kids must not be suspended from school because they give a view against gay/lesbian topic which the teacher does not like.

That means it’s best for schoolkids to not listen to gay/lebian propaganda.
