Ah, that would explain it, then. I haven’t watched any televison about this case, I’ve gotten all my info elsewhere. I had never seen that picture before today. Seems to me it would be more accurate to use it rather than old pictures.

Why? Other killed kids get half their photo albums shown on Nancy Grace everyday. 🤷

I’m not sure that we do. I am sure that anyone can open a Twitter/Facebook account at any time with any name. Which is the specific point I was cautioning you about.

Point made. He is listed as W/M on the police report. The other issues remain as manipulation.

Actually, the other issues, I haven’t looked into so I will reserve judgment. I do know that I saw the contentious video many times on TV with nothing at all obscuring Zimmerman’s head.

I could return to this site in half and hour with a link to a Twitter account with the username of your choice (with a number or two following it, if it’s already in use) AND any photo freely available on the net…

So in insisting that it is Martin’s account, you are opening yourself up to the possibility of accusing him of stuff that he’s not responsible for.

What don’t I know? I’ve had 3 or 4 Twitter accounts for different purposes, none of which said: Seekerz. This is the 21st century.

They may have to put white male on the police reports because Hispanics are considered white for the purposes of FBI statistics.

In which case, there was nothing sinister in reporting the shooter as a white male, at least initially.

As a mixed person, still can’t get over my mental block as to how a person gets made to choose one race when his parents are of different races. If we were to be absolutely accurate, Zimmerman would be described as Mixed, but I guess it’s his choice to accept or not, the odd traditions of our society. I understand the pressures as I too have succumbed to ‘the way it is’ for most of my life.

When Nancy Grace, for example, features a child who has been killed, she features of them at various ages, not just the more current ones. No reason it should be different for this dead child.

do you find it funny that the media hasn’t used any pictures of zimmerman when he was just a boy? why not show george and trayvon in their onesies while we’re at it.

Why is reporting race even necessary. If we want to get rid of racism, maybe we should stop talking, writing, thinking, and reporting on it so much.
