We are on a very slippery slope right now, all in the name of being ‘pastoral’. Personally, I’d rather be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie. Remember the words of St. John Vianney, a priest goes to heaven or hell with a thousand people following.
 
He needs to be excommunicated. He is pastoring these people right into Hell! “The road to Hell is strewn with the bones of priests, and the skulls of bishops are the lamps that light the way.”

I don’t think that he is the only Catholic who favors blessing SS couples.
 
This Bishop is very confused about the Catholic Faith. Allowing him to continue to represent the Church is scandalous.

On October 13, 1973 the Blessed Virgin reportedly said to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa of Akita, Japan; "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord."

Considering what is going on in our Church today, I’m finding it more and more difficult, with every passing week, to be skeptical of that apparition!

You have no idea who is in hell. But keep believing you do if it makes you feel better.

This so-called “cardinal” and other followers of Satan need to be purged from the ranks. They show their true colors in opposing th Church and it’s teachings.
 
This is why comments like “Who am I to judge?” can be so problematic. There is a direct line from comments like that to the idea some prelates seem to have that pretty much everything in the area of sexual morality is suddenly up for grabs.
 
You can feel the palpable sense of trying to get as much done as possible under this pontificate.
 
He is one of the Holy Father’s top advisers - a member of the “Council of Cardinals” convened for Curia reform. He will not be excommunicated… and its not your place to suggest that.
 
Won’t happen. By all appearances, has the full confidence of the Holy Father as his appointment to the Council of Cardinals demonstrates.
I am not suggesting that Pope Francis supports instituting some sort of blessing for same sex couples… but I don’t see Cardinal Marx going anywhere anytime soon.
 
The pope’s “confidence” in this cardinal is irrelevant to the impropriety of the cardinal’s outrageous statement.
 
True to his namesake, he seeks the ruin of the society he belongs to.
 
Pastoral care? More like ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing seeking souls to destroy.
