Assuming any of this is true, for which you provided no evidence at all, it’s possible in the Catholic Church to obtain forgiveness for one’s past sins.
OK, you be forgiving as to Biden. And believe me, what I said about Gingrich is true.

Check the record for when they first appointed a priest as chaplain and then research who had blocked priests. It sure wasn’t Democrats.

The senators do not claim that nominee Brian Buescher is unfit to serve on the bench because he is Roman Catholic.
It wasn’t Kamala’s “claim” so much as it was her unmistakable implication that MANY people could readily see.

Kamala has displayed her anti-Catholicism. At least that is my opinion.
KOC went from being a religious organization to a political action committee in all but name when they donated 1 Million to proposition 8. And 250K to a marriage organization.
That is your opinion.

Religious organizations can support positions.

Did the Catholic Church become a “political action committee” when they opposed slavery, or wrote against dueling, or when they admonish against racism?

No.

Basically you are supporting Kamala’s line of questioning.

A line of questioning that on my opinion is anti-Catholic.

Opposing is one thing.

Donating huge amounts of money is a completely different matter.

Yes, it is your opinion.

But as someone that between 2000 and 2009 spent a good number of weekends in Auditoriums, Conference Rooms, etc actually debating real anti-Catholics you’re opinion and that of others that have posted op-eds amount to nothing.

It really is an insult to us that have gone face to face with real adversaries of the Catholic Church for those that really don’t have an inkling what a real anti-Catholic is.

No, but I have had other things thrown at me while arriving or leaving a venue.

And Jack Chick tracts have been left on the windshields of cars at both of the churches I attend.

Have you found another instance of Kamala being openly anti-Catholic toward another nominee?

True. These people are ultra-fringe; a handful of people with no power. The Dem party is far more subtle, massively more powerful anti-Catholic organization.

Please just stop. That allegation has no basis.

If you have a claim, cite some facts to support it instead of making softball, wild allegations.

Obama’s HHS Mandate and litigation with the Little Sisters.

Resolution to force Catholics to pay for abortions.

Hillary’s assertion that people would need to “change their religion” to accommodate abortion.

Harris’ thinly veiled anti-Catholicism in judicial hearings.

DNC revelations that it supports dissident, pro-abortion “Catholic” organizations.

They’re not going to put up billboards, you know. You should give them credit for at least a reasonable degree of subtlety.

DNC admission that prolife people are not welcome in the party.

Respectfully, given what you shared previously about an anti-Catholic incident directed at you, it sounds like your perspective may be just a tad biased.

You know, none of that was aimed at Catholics. Because Catholics opposed the measures (with the Thomas More Society suing the president unsuccessfully as “Barack Hussein Obama”) you find that they somehow had an anti-Catholic animus. That’s just not so. There were nuns who supported the Affordable Care Act.

By your way of thinking the GOP could only be called virulently against minorities, women and science.

Not ONLY at Catholics, but mainly so. Obama knew Obamacare had no serious conscientious protections in it, and so he issued his mandate knowing full well it would violate the consciences of Catholic charitable organizations. He did it when he didn’t need to.
There were nuns who supported the Affordable Care Act.
There are some nuns who are pro-abortion. But like most bishops, most nuns were also fooled into thinking Obamacare posed no danger to Catholic organizations. The bishops (and probably some of the orders of sisters) were surprised when Obama turned it against the Church and opposed him in Court.

Generally, the Dem party tries not to show its anti-Catholicism too blatantly, but now and then they just can’t resist.

The Dems are against certain traditional Judeo-christian values.
They are against the belief that marriage should be one man, one woman.
They are against the idea that fragile humans without political clout should be protected (disabled, pre-born, those in danger of euthanasia).
It just so happens that Catholics still vocally espouse those certain values that are opposed by Dems.

Yes, there was plenty of anti-Catholic sentiment in the US and no doubt in some places there still is. None of that demonstrates that Harris’ line of questioning was, in fact, anti-Catholic. It wasn’t.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that this attack on the Knights of Columbus, a men’s only organization affiliated with the Catholic Church following teachings of the Catholic church in regards to abortion and marriage, became Kamala Harris’s target because of its ties to the Church. We know this because when Feinstein
similarly questioned a Catholic, mentioning the Church specifically, for a judgeship using the same line of questioning there was a great deal of backlash. The KOCs just provided cover for the anti-Catholic bigotry.

This is the logical fallacy of appealing to authority.

In this case your own authority.

And what makes you so sure you are the only one here who has been in organized debates against anti-Catholics?

And why do you then ignore Bill Donohue who has used other venues to deal with anti-Catholics?

Comments from this guy won’t stop me from voting Biden/Harris.
Yeah. Comments from that guy (me) won’t stop me from voting Biden/Harris. Either.

It is their (Biden and Harris) unfettered support for the legality to murder innocent pre-born Americans that is the absolute deal-breaker for my vote.
That’s what will stop me from voting for them.
Not my comments.
(Although there are other reasons why I would not vote for Biden and Harris too).
