Glenn Beck says to run away from churches who preach social justice?

I agree with Glenn Beck…

keep the phony populism and altrusim out of the church. Charity is NOT forced, it is given freely.

You don’t have a RIGHT to other peoples money, labor, or time. THOU SHALL NOT COVET!!!

You DO have the right to give of those things as you wish, I DON’T have the RIGHT to demand them from you.

I AM PRO LIFE
PRO CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
ANTI ILLEGAL ALIEN… COME IN THE RIGHT WAY OR GO HOME!

4elise is claiming she has a right to (take) other people’s money?
Absolutely positively NO WAY.

4elise is a faithful Catholic.
She obeys the teachings of the Church.
She makes that perfectly clear in all of her posts.

Yes, she is staunchly pro-life.
Is that Populism or “Altruism?”
No.

(BTW, Glenn Beck is a fallen away Catholic. If you’re Catholic
then it’s odd to support his views and reject the posts of 4elise. Isn’t it?)

We may disagree about where this line should be drawn, but we should not disagree with the teaching of the Church. If we do, we should consider that perhaps another faith community would better meet our needs. If we are - perhaps we are looking for the Church of ‘I’ - the Church of ‘My World View’ -

On this Holy Saturday many are being welcomed into the embrace of the Church. We should all reflect on our personal commitment to be followers of Jesus and decide if this Church is where we belong - are we being molded - or are we trying to mold the church to us?

I find it ironic that those who speak here so strongly against relativism also reject the Social Justice Teaching of our Church… BECK told people to run from such Churches - run perhaps to the church of ‘ME’ the church of "I’VE GOT MINE’ ----- no, I’ll stay right here in the Catholic Church happily espousing the ENTIRE teaching, pro life, social justice, preference for the poor.

When you demand higher taxes to support your pet projects, your idea of “justice” then yes, it is taking other peoples money, when 51 percent votes to raise taxes on the 49 percent who pays taxes. then yes it is stealing

Exactly…the money that helps the poor…should come from all that we all give to our churches, temples, mosques and whatever else. Social Justice groups are widespread and filled with revenge and anger over things that happened before they were even born. These are not groups filled with grace or mercy…as our teachings advise…“let the one withput error or sin…throw the first stone”. These folks think they are free from any wrong doing and here to set the record straight…pray for them…they are doing what was done to Jesus. They think they know what is best. Socialism is evil.

Catherina, I will be charitable now… . I am sure that you are a nice lady, you mean well and have good motives. I would like to talk with you but not take potshots at each other.

one cannot disagree with a fellow catholic? btw, are you or 4elise infallable? if you are, than accept my apologies.
 
Look at the direction we are headed: Abortion and sex are the keys to our future. If taxpayer-funded aborition on demand is made available to young girls, then they can have all the sex (with or without true love) they want. Early sex is the way to drag kids away from religion. What’s holding kids back from sex? Pregnancy and morality. The lure of sex will get them to forget about Church. Once they’ve lost their innocece and done it every which way, they’ll start experimenting, which is just what the far left wants.
