I did what I believed to be just and I couldn’t do anything else, which led to riding the storm. I read Sacred Scripture daily and Jesus gave me great strength in the Psalms. Here I found my Counsel and my consolation. Every night, my heart sad and breaking I read Sacred Scripture as usual and every passage my eyes came to were about enemies triumphing and the writer pleading to God for vindication. I prayed repeatedly to be shown my error or otherwise to be vindicated; either, as God willed. It is hard when you stand alone and no-one, not one soul believes what you say to be just, you feel the numbers press on you and you feel you are forsaken by God which of course is not true, God is always with us. I didn’t pray to be right, I prayed for God’s will and it matters diddly whether I was right or not nor does it matter about me, what matters is that God’s will prevailed. I, for my part, would have complied with God’s will if it came about I was not doing the right thing, but it is so very hard to hang onto justice when it seems by all outside indications that you are not seeking justice.
Time passed, along time it seemed, but one year is not a long time in God’s eyes. So a year of those prayers and believing God will do as He sees fit and not how I see fit or anyone else sees fit. For me I can rejoice in His Cross and be glad I have some small suffering to offer to Jesus without which I go empty handed to Calvary and the Cross of Jesus.
We cannot help but feel the pain, we are human, but we rise above the pain in Christ Jesus and endure and persevere offering all things to Him and thanking Him for everything. Would I do it again? Yes, in a second.

We must never forget that Calvary led to Easter Morning.
I have adorned the throne of Jesus with tears as beautiful jewels; what small a price to pay to be able to do this

. When you toil in tears how much greater your joy as God does His work.
Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
like the watercourses in the Negeb.
May those who sow in tears
reap with shouts of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
**carrying their sheaves. **
