I have read all the posts and I must say I am surprised how many times Muslim beliefs are belittled. As a Protestant who is now in RCIA, whenever we meet we always agree to discuss other religious viewpoints with the respect we would want if someone were discussing ours. While we Christians do not believe in Islam, we have to understand that if we want to discuss the differences in our faiths, making fun of Islam will not win anyone over. Islam is now the worlds largest religion, beating out all Christian faiths. There has to be a reason Islam is spreading so fast, and if we want to understand why people are drawn to it, we have to respect those who practice it and not demean their faith.
Islam is not the world’s largest religion. Christianity is nearly 2.2 billion strong while Islam is around 1.3 billion.

Thank you for the correction. I meant to say Islam is now larger than the RCC, not all of Christianity.

t68ware, are you AWARE of the severity of the error in calling the devil as god?

We all know that the devil wants to be god. But he cannot do it overtly because the wise will know of it and have nothing of it. The best way is to get them to worship him without them realising it and wasting their lives in ignorance.
I am very aware how dangerous that is. But we Christians will not convince any Muslim to convert if we treat them with disrespect and just belittle their faith. Making fun of another religion does not show Christian charity. Normally, when a person makes fun or is disrespectful of another point of view is because their is a lack of understanding of it.

In the Bible, God chose all his Prophets to be descendants of Israel. All the prophets of the bible are Jews, true Israelites. Even our Lord Jesus was a Jew.

How come the so called last ‘prophet’ is an ishmaelite.

Did our God Change his mind?

think about this: Deuteronomy 13:1-4 tells us that no prophet will bring a revelation that is in conflict with previous revelation. His revelation must agree with the previous revelation of God.

For example, The Bible teaches that man is to love his wife and treat her as his own body. Ephesians 5:25-29

If the qur’an is the continuation of our God’s revelation, why was it written in qur’an: 4:34 to beat your unfaithful wife?

“As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, and beat them, but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great.”

Did the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob change his mind on this matter?

I do not know. Perhaps one of the reasons they follow the book in its original Arabic is because they are told that it is to be best comprehended in the original. That would be a good reason. Some non-Aramaean/Greek/Hebrew Christians will learn those languages in order study the primary texts of the Bible, with much the same reasoning.
Have you thought why our God confused the Tongues of the Nations in Genesis 11:1-9?

We all know the One World, One Language Concept is an abomination towards God that’s why he abolished it.

How do christian pray, literally? We pray in our native tongue, isn’t it?
And we also read our bibles in our native tongues.

How come the so called true religion is contradicting what God did in the tower of Babel.

Is the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob inconsistent by allowing the so called “true religion” to worship in arabic unison literally throughout the world.

Why is Allah called RABB AL-ALIMEEN “The Lord of this world”

In the Bible 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells, The Lord of this World has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Satan followers even calls Satan, “Lord of this world” in their demonic rituals.

Could it be that the God of the Christians is different from the one muslims revered as their god.

Al Jabbar, the Oppressor

Al-Mumeet, the causer of death

AS-SA’IQ, The Driver; He Who Drives to Hell

Ad-Daarr,the Afflicter, creator of the harmful and evil

Al-Mudhill, the Humiliator, the Degrader

AL-MAKIR, the Best of Plotters

just some of the 99 names of their god

Will you believe and worship it?

I heard catholic priests converting, will you?

Why is Father or Daddy not one of the 99 names?

Why did God tell Moses a name that was to be God’s forever and then leave it off the list?

I heard catholic priests converting, will you?
Muslims tend to lump all Christian leaders, pastors and priests of various denominations into one category. So all that ‘hoo-hah’ about Catholic priests converting to Islam from da’wah proselytizers really ought to be examined and investigated carefully. There have been several occasions when Anglican priests have been mistaken for Catholic priests.

There is also one well known case where the person was not ever even Christian. It was an outright lie told by a Muslim government.

So much for no lying in Islam.

Oh it is permitted. They just won’t admit to it openly. I have had a Chinese-Muslim convert (because of his engagement to a Malay-Muslim woman) tell me how the teachers in his nightly Qur’anic classes explained the fine art of taqiyya and qitman.

It was just a casual conversation between him and i, and he confessed he’s not really into Islam but only to please his wife and in-laws. By the way, i’m not trying to rub in the noses of Muslims reading this - only saying as it is.

Ive read all thread’s that discusses islam i haven’t see any belittling, of the islamic faith…everything thats brought into the light is from there own writings,be it the quran or the hadiths… how is that belittling there faith…also lots of there writings from the quran and hadiths have a very dark and hatefull side to them against non muslims that’s also being brought out into the light ,and they dont like it…forwarned is to be prepared for the darkness thats coming for non muslims from islam now and in the future…God help us all…😛 👍

I know all of you heard this before,

Christians & Jewish martyrs say; “I will die for what I believe”.
A Muslim martyr says; “you will die for what I believe”…

I apologize to anyone who may be offended by this. The truth is we love the muslims, we are called to loved them in the bible. What we hate is the teachings that is blinding them to SUBMIT to a foreign god that teaches killing of jews and christians. Muslim considers us as inferior because of our faith in Christ, just like the NAZIS did against the Jews because they are the hated race.

Even if nazi germany was a catholic nation, its leader adolf hitler doesn’t want any part of it. Hitler made it clear that he “hated Christianity” and was going to eliminate it when the war ended (see Kershaw, 2000).

In Hitler’s words “the heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity” (Hitler, 1953, p. 6). The Jesuits were “swine,” and all of Christianity was “Jewish Christianity” which was comparable with “Jewish Bolshevism.” Hitler concluded that both were evil and both had to be destroyed (Kershaw, 2000, pp. 330, 488).

Is Nazi ideology the same with Islamic doctrines on the annihilation of the jews and christians?
