Whilst it may be easy for some to quickly say yes, and argue with those who dont agree, I do think those same people have to realise that we are not all blessed with blind faith and the ability to simply believe everything we are told without question.
I would think it would depend upon who it was who was doing the telling. Since Catholics are to believe what is taught by the Church, and the Church is protected by the Holy Spirit from teaching error, I wouldn’t think that the Church’s credibility on issues of faith and morals would be questioned by Catholics.

Now if it was just me telling you something, I wouldn’t expect you to believe me. Nobody else does. 😉

If you think the Golden Globe awards were bad just wait until the Academy Awards come out!

I’m looking forward to the Oscars!

We’re all movie lovers in my family and we realize not everyone we want to win is gonna win. Oh well thats life.

My fingers are crossed for Walk The Line, as well as Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. If they win, everything else wont matter at all to me. But I am aware there’s an agenda under foot for the gay stuff and just hope this doesnt ruin the evening.

Jon Stewart hosting. Walk the Line up for awards…oh yeah, good times! ( we choose to focus on the good stuff instead of freaking out like some other Catholics and the Pat Roberstons of the world tend to do with the bad)

Oscar night is Pizza Hut and snacks night! 🙂

Let us know what you think, but for me, a tale of forbidden gay cowboy love doesn’t really spark my interests. I can’t quite figure out why. I guess I don’t really care for love stories!
I share your lack of interest in gay cowboy love. All I’m interested in is the social phenomenon it has created.

Maybe it’s because THE MOVIES WERE WELL DONE AND HAD GOOD ACTING. Believe it or not, they arent the “movies with good catholic morals” awards.

It’s OK to have blind obedience
It’s things like this that REALLY scare me.
Maybe sodomy means throwing your underage daughters to the mob to be raped. That’s what God’s man wanted to do. Is Lot the good guy in this story?

Well it’s about time someone brought this up -.-
In line with the Catholic literal interpretation of scripture (so as not to be protestant!) I think anyone who doesnt do the same to their daughter should be damned within the hellfire for sinning against God.

I heard a movie came out recently where people eat shrimp! Why arent Catholics buzzing about it in the same way? Surely they’ve read the bible!

And that ends my rant of sarcasm.

I can’t watch anything Hollywood, due to their lack of morals. I get too angry and feel very unchristian. I have to tune out. I won’t give them and their sick agendas even a penny of my money.
The marvelous thing about freedom is that not everyone has to agree with your morals.
