If there’s no abrogation, then how can you explain contradictions in Koran?

What I find interesting (but not necessarily good point of Islam) is that it’s successfull in making Muslims becoming slave of its teaching.Surely, this so called religion really can terrorize its adherents to such degree that they won’t see anything illogical, or nonsensical of its teachings.
I really admire those Muslim because sometimes they can become so naive in accepting things that happen in their life as destiny for any reasons.

**

The real translation of this verse 2:106 is as follows:

(But) We bring a better one in its place,
**
OK. How can something be “better” than something else that is “perfect”; i.e., how can the “perfect word of Allah for all times” be better than another “perfect word of Allah for all times”?

** Agabriel is anxious and busy trying to prove abrogation in the Quran. But to no avail. There was a link too. It was all false and only pointed two verses which could be used to in favor of abrogation. But Agabiel could not present any verse of the Quran which could be considered abrogated.

**
We’ve been through this abrogation thing before several times:
**There is no abrogation in the Quran. **
And my response [which planten never answered] is still the same. Muslims are risking apostasy by claiming there is no abrogation in the Qur’an:
Abrogation in the Qur’an.
…The Qur’an is unique among sacred scriptures in accepting a doctrine of abrogation in which later pronouncements of the Prophet declare null and void his earlier pronouncements. Four verses in the Qu’ran acknowledge or justify abrogation:
  • When we cancel a message, or throw it into oblivion, we replace it with one better or one similar. Do you not know that God * has power over all things?
  • When we replace a message with another, and God * knows best what he reveals, they say: You have made it up. Yet, most of them do not know.
  • God * abrogates or confirms whatsoever he will, for he has with him the Book of the Books.
  • If we pleased, we could take away what we have revealed to you. Then you will not find anyone to plead for it with us.
Rather than explain away inconsistencies in passages regulating the Muslim community, many jurists acknowledge the differences but accept that latter verses trump earlier verses. Most scholars divide the Qur’an into verses revealed by Muhammad in Mecca when his community of followers was weak and more inclined to compromise, and those revealed in Medina, where Muhammad’s strength grew.
Classical scholars argued that anyone who studied the Qur’an without having mastered the doctrine of abrogation would be “deficient.” Those who do not accept abrogation fall outside the mainstream and, perhaps, even the religion itself.*** [Emphasis added]

I converted to islam two years ago and alhamdullilah it is going fine with me. I especially like the calmness and peace that I feel when I pray or read Quran.

Anyway, In relations to your post, Muhammed (pbuh) never built extravagant buildings and nor did he accumulate wealth, he was known for being humble and gave any money that he had to charity. I need to go now but I’ll fully reply later inshallah. 🙂

I always find it so ironic when Muslims claim that reading the Quran makes them feel good or gives them peace as you just stated!

Would you please explain how reading all the hatred and violence that is preached in the Quran against those who don’t accept Islam can make you feel good? Islam distorts everything and Muhammad redefined sin to make evil seem good and good evil. This is why ex-Muslim psychiatric Wafa Sultan has stated:

"When I examined the Koran, the hadith, and the Islamic books under a microscope, I came to the absolute conviction that it is impossible – impossible! – for any human being to read the biography of Muhammad and believe in it, and yet emerge a psychologically and mentally healthy person."

I had proved that the church has abrogated all the laws and commandments of the bibleOT. That abrogation and doing away with the entire Mosaic law is well known to every one. Would that not be abrogation in toto?? Surely it is. There is no such thing in the Quran.

But Quran did abrogate some verses of the BibleNT which stated that Jesus died on the cross, and which stated that Jesus was a god or son of God. Quran also abrogated the theory of three gods in One, i.e. Trinity, which was not found in the bible but formulated by the church itself.

Now I take up one verse only of the Quran which is used to prove the abrogation. Please see below:

The real translation of this verse 2:106 is as follows:

"WE do not abrogate any verse (sign)

Nor do We make it to be forgotten

(But) We bring a better one in its place,

Or one similar (equal) to it."**

Tell me where it says that Allah abrogates any verse of the Quran?. He says “We do not abrogate any verse…”. There is nothing about the verse that it is the verse of the Quran. There are verses in the BibleNT and OT too. They are also earlier verses which had been revealed before. Could they not be abrogated or replaced with better ones by the verses of the Quran? They can be, and we have seen that many verses of the Quran have overtaken the verses of the bible and made them null and void. But Quran let some verses of the bible stand as they are without change. How about that please??
Considering you won’t read it anyway - or maybe it is a matter of retention - I will post it for the others.

“When We substitute one revelation for another, and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), they say, “Thou art but a forger”: but most of them understand not.” Surah 16:101

For any fool who wants to believe that Muhammed was just spouting from his god, then do so. Or it could be that Muhammed forgot what he would say week to week, month to month! And basically, unlike the Prophets of the OT, Muhammed was told by some questionable angel.

Now if one really wants to believe in Allah and Muhammed - who is Muhammed referring to when he says ‘we’? Is this another example of not only abrogation, but shirk on Muhammed’s part. He is putting himself right up there with his Allah.

But, back to abrogation - was it that Allah would forget what he said previously? Not a very smart God if you ask me. Abrogation

But, it could go into the part where Muhammed said that Allah would like to create things so he could torture them.

Qur’an 5:41 “Whomever Allah wants to deceive you cannot help. Allah does not want them to know the truth because he intends to disgrace them and then torture them.”

Allah sounds like a sadist.

I thought it was the “royal” we, as when Queen Victoria famously said “We are not amused.” That is, it was Allah speaking directly to humankind.
But, back to abrogation - was it that Allah would forget what he said previously? Not a very smart God if you ask me.
I have a problem with abrogation also. If the Qur’an existed before time began, and its author is an omniscient and omnipotent being, why on earth wouldn’t it be in finished form when it was delivered to the Prophet?

Muhammed wasn’t a royal anything. Maybe a royal pain in the butt, but nothing else. These three verses say about the same thing: Ishaq:119, Tabari VI:93, 95-96
**Ishaq:119 “'Abu Tabib, your nephew Muhammad has cursed our gods [at this point he had cursed all of them, including Allah], insulted our religion [more correctly, insulted them by trying to steal their religion], mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error. Either you stop him or let us get to him. For you, like us, are in opposition to him. He gave them a conciliatory reply. They returned a second time and said, ‘We have asked you to put a stop to your nephew’s activities but you have not done so. By Allah, we cannot endure having our fathers
reviled and our customs mocked.’ Muhammad thought that his uncle had the idea of abandoning and betraying him, and that he was going to lose his support. The Apostle broke into tears.” **
Allah never spoke to Muhammed, an angel did.
And I am in the same category of people who think that Muhammed used his pagan god, Allah. And eventually replaced even a benign moon god with himself. As Muhammed’s mental problems grew worse so did his Allah. Muhammed used Allah to ok his sexual perversions, his lying, his killing/stealing/enslaving, and terrorizing. Allah started out a harmless god, but ended out not so harmless.
As Hitler used his (he always capitalizes) ‘Fate’, Muhammed used his Allah.
Anyway, it was Muhammed who set the rules for shirk. And the ‘we’ was very arrogant of him. A queen, such as Victoria, never usually used the ‘we’ for anything other than herself and her people, or other earthly thing. It wasn’t used to put themselves up there with God.
here is a glimpse into Muhammed and a bit of megalomania:
BukhariV1B7N1331 “The Prophet said, ‘I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me. 1. Allah made me victorious by awe by His terrorizing my enemies. 2. The earth has been made for me. 3. Booty has been made lawful for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. 4. I have been given the right of intercession. 5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind.’”
Here is one that is very telling of Muhammed:
Bukhari:V4B55N651-2 “I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, ‘I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus. All the prophets are paternal brothers - their mothers are different, but their religion is one. There has been no prophet between me and Jesus.’”
**Here we have Muhammed saying that he is the one who either condemns a person, or sends them to heaven - not Allah:**Bukhari:V9B92N384 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me will not enter it.’”
Qur’an 33:36 “No Muslim has any choice after Allah and His Apostle have decided a matter.”
Qur’an 33:57 “Those who speak negatively of Allah and His Apostle shall be cursed.”
I would say that Muhammed couldn’t even follow his own commands to not commit shirk. He committed it quite often.

Considering you won’t read it anyway - or maybe it is a matter of retention - I will post it for the others.

read the article.

As for the rest of your note 🤷

well , i don’t seek the knowledge of islam from you , honestly i think that i know my religion more than you

i just seek the discussion with you , you can quote whatever you want from the article and bring it for honest discussion
As for the rest of your note 🤷
so you have no comments about my refutations ?

I don’t expect anyone to seek their knowledge of Islam from me. I expect them to do their own reading. And the last person(s) I will learn Islam from are from brainwashed ones.

But, as for your refutations - how can I refute something when you haven’t read the reference? I wrote what I wrote and if you want me to rewrite them, I can do that.

You feign ignorance of some of it. How do I respond to that? Repeat the sentence until you ‘get it’? Do you want me to read the article for you? Unfortunately, it doesn’t work very well on the internet.

Basically, you guys keep telling us that the Quran is the ‘word of Allah’. Which by itself is not true since Allah never spoke to Muhammed, an angel did. And then it is very apparent that the angel forgot what he told Muhammed from one day to the next so then the excuse that is used in the surahs I gave to you are used to explain that away. And the ironic thing is that people actually fall for it, and get bothered by it when it is pointed out to them. their own Quran.

This is one reason why the last people on earth that I chose to learn Islam from are the Muslims themselves. Besides the command to deceive us, they are told not to question their own religion/Quran, and that if they do they are intimidated by the threat of death at the very most, and the threat of being cast offs at the very least.

What I learn from Muslims are these things:
  • they are repetitious in their religious rites.
  • they are afraid of not having their scales balanced, and when we don’t buy their hogwash they get upset - probably because they feel their scales are not balanced and they might not make it to their orgy in the sky
  • they haven’t learned the deception requires one to be more mentally astute since they have to remember from one time to the next what they deceive other’s about and be consistent. They are never consistent so they haven’t even learned the basics of deception.
  • so very few know the history of their own religion/political movement, Allah, Muhammed, and the bloody history of Jihad.
  • they twist good and bad, love and hate, war and peace and get upset if we catch on to it
  • they get upset if we know their Islamic texts 😃
  • they are the masters of excuses and victimhood
  • they blame others for their own problems
And if I really sat down for awhile I could probably crank out some more things that I learn from Muslims. but, it isn’t Islam nor is it peace.

I listen to former Muslims and it seems that the Muslims are either in denial, or just won’t admit to the problem in Islam if their faith is questioned.

[Former MUSLIMS Testify About ISLAM

](http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=FE35D62E4DD937EB)(this is a series of 11 videos - the 1st two talk about the scales, martyrdom bypassing the scales and a ticket straight to heaven, etc).

As for an apology - why don’t you let your Allah worry about me. I am not going to worry about him because Muhammed destroyed his statue a long time ago and it has been dust for a very, long time now.

How could I be embarrassed that you need me to read to you? That one escapes me.

About asking questions in Islam:
“O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Surah 5:101-102).

“The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions …so do not try to probe into such things.” (The Meaning of the Qur’an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77)

Muhammad said: “Allah has hated you for asking too many questions.”

“The Prophet then got angry and his cheeks and face became red.”
Bukhari’s Hadith

"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) “Allah has hated you…[for] asking too many questions.” (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari’s Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

Basically, actions speak louder than words! If Islam is such an open religion, why are Christians harassed and murdered in all countries where Muslims are in control of the civil governments.

I was thinking about Muhammed’s reactions to people asking questions. Or if you want to blame Allah for Muhammed’s reactions - whatever.

A God who gives a human being the ability to think and question, and is so afraid of His creation to use these abilities that He sends a Prophet who reacts so poorly, should be questioned.

And I leave out all the other atrocious behavior of Muhammed, since we have heard on a different thread that Muslims are ok with this atrocious behavior and give excuses for it, or ignore it ‘Are Muslims okay with Muhammed actions?’

Why would a God create something and then be so wanting to torture it and deceive it? (I have posted those surahs countless times of Allah intentionally deceiving people and those he wants to throw into Hell)

If you think about it, just people in general, when questioned and they don’t know the answer they get angry.

If mohamad was trully guided by the spirit of allah, - through Gabriel - that should have not been a problem for him.

This is why the Jews at mohamads time questioned and “tested” the claim to mohamads “prophethood”.

God in the Bible was always taught us to test the prophets.

That 's what the Jews and Christians did with mohamad.

He failed! - Therefore is is not a prophet and allah never spoke to him. God never spoke to mohamad.

The spirit who spoke to mohamad in the begining in the cave has not been identified. It is claimed as Gabriel.

Brother please don’t worry, Agabriel does this often. He quotes a verse from the Quran and twists it to make it sound negative. He expects us not to be bothered and gets a pat on the back from his christian comrades, however when a muslim does expose his twisted verses-he sort of disappears and the post is ignored by the rest of the christians on here and they move on quickly to insult another aspect of islam which has already been explained to them before…and thus the cycle of life on the non-catholic religions section on this catholic forum continues.

Verses like the ones below make me feel good. Because unlike you, when I was a christian-I didn’t used to search through the internet to find anti-islamist websites which twisted the Quran to make it seem terrible and all about violence and then pretended that I knew everything about the Quran-I sat down and read the Quran fully myself.

“Do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption” (2:60)

“If anyone killed a human being it shall be as though he had killed all mankind;whereas if anyone saved a life it shall be as though he had saved the lives of all mankind” (5:32)

“Do not take any human being’s life- the life which God had declared saved” (6:151)

“Every community faces a direction of its own, of which He is the focal point. Vie, therefore, with one another is doing good works.” (2:62)

“Show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant.” (7:199)

Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none save Him, and show kindness to your parents. If one or both of them attain old age with thee, say not ‘Fie’ unto them or repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word." (17:23-24)

What is wrong with these verses? What are you going to do now? Give me some out of context verses from the Quran? Give me an opinion from someone who hates islam?

Twist what? ‘we’ is a plural and quite often Muhammed put himself with his Allah. You guys continually give him a pass. But, if you did question Muhammed then you would have a big problem so you excuse Muhammed time and again. Or rather you just make sure the Muslims do not question or discuss things.

I don’t have to make your stuff negative, it does it all by itself. You write about the battles of Muhammed like they were a good thing. Instead they were offensive attacks against others for loot and slaves. And they were usually against a poorly armed group of people, especially caravans. And Muhammed made sure he got his share of the stuff by telling his followers that he should get 1/5 of it all.

Many Christians don’t believe how bad Muhammed was, but it is all in your texts. Many do know when they start reading the texts for themselves. We don’t need some cleric to interpret for us, if we did we would be more like you by trying to twist bad things into good.
