She got pretty well skunked in the last 5 primaries (including Washington State) with Bernie getting roughly 70% of the votes in each. That doesn’t sound like Hillary’s support is very enthusiastic.
Hillary expected to lose in the West, with the exception of California. She didn’t expect to win Washington, Alaska, or Hawaii, or even some of the other Western states. Sanders’ support is strong in the West and Northwest. But look how strong Hillary is in the Southwest. Look at Arizona. Look at the South, where she swept. Bernie does well where there are a lot of white voters in their 20s. The Tulsi Gabbard ad in Hawaii helped him immensely, too. And Bernie may win Wisconsin. He’ll probably win at least part of the state, but Hillary should pull in the votes from the metro-Milwaukee area. You have to look at demographics.

It’ll be interesting if Hilary fails in California. Yes she’s ahead in polling, but polling has proven to be largely unreliable this election cycle.

It doesn’t matter. If Trump lacks the delegate count for nomination, neither he nor Cruz will be nominated. As appalled as the old guard GOP is with Trump, they absolutely loathe Cruz and he will not get the nomination either.

What will in fact happen, is (1), the party elite is going to is going to nominate who they want, even in the face of GOP voters who clearly do not want a tradition Republican to run, but more importantly, (2), the GOP is so dysfunctional, and has inflicted so much damage on itself that they will lose the bid for a Republican White House regardless of who (Hillary, Bernie, or the Easter Bunny) the Democrats nominate.
Well, if that happens, the US will no longer be a democracy from that day on, I doubt the media or Govt would want to deal with the repercussions of that.

In that case, it has never been a democracy. Oh, wait we are a republic, not a democracy.

If you read the history, many states did not hold primaries until relatively recently. Some states used to allow their delegates to vote for someone other than who won the majority when they sent their final results to Washington.

^^^This. The tradition up to, I dunno exactly, early-mid 20th century was that the parties chose the candidates without (name removed by moderator)ut from the sheep.
We never were a democracy.

Don’t folks learn civics any more??🙂
Nope. The level of ignorance among the people who are expected to make an informed choice in November is amazing.

I’m not sure how many people are picking up on the backroom politics, but I think there have been a few more than previously. I know its become a concerned awareness for me.
It would be a good deed on the media’s part to explain these shifty rules in plain language and math for the voting public.

As a Republican I am keenly disappointed to hear what is going with the GOP. The Democrats are really easy to see through - they put the scam right out there - just in your face as they say. Very little is said about the coronation of Hillary Clinton - why did Sanders even bother? Now we see the leader of the Republican dozen not meeting the backroom acceptability. If this scam is carried out and the plotting does not cease, the Republicans are going to loose. The concern over this is bad enough to have repercussions.

Let’s keep it honest GOP!

Honest? In politics?

That last worked in 1860.

As long as the country is in a TV-businessman-for-President mode, maybe someone like Mr Wonderful, Mark Cuban, or Lori Greiner?

According to the results on Wikipedia, Cruz has won 9 states, but only won the majority of delegates in 5 of those states (Idaho, Maine, Kansas, Texas, and Utah). So he’d have 3 more to go. It seems reasonable to me that he could reach that benchmark.
Right. I think the whole of line about Trump being the only one who has done it so far is pure advertisement.

That last worked in, ugh …

I don’t know, but I don’t think I can in good conscience vote for anybody in this field.
And by not voting at all is a vote for Hilary who supports abortion.

Also she would put in 2 to 3 liberal Supreme Court Judges.

Really, do we want that?

IDk, looking like she may end up behind bars.

**Oh My: Romney For President Paperwork Was Filed With The FEC Last Month **
Katie Pavlich | Mar 08, 2016
. . . . “I’m not running and I’m not going to be running,” Romney said on NBC over the weekend while keeping the door open should he be named at a brokered convention in July.
But according to paperwork filed with the Federal Elections Commission last month, a Romney presidential run isn’t being completely ruled out. . . .

Although 3 week old news, this story may be more important now than it was 3 weeks ago. Comments?

I am hoping the Establishment Republicans (GOPe) do not attempt to “rig” this primary.

Hopefully the GOPe would not do such a thing, especially with everybody so closely watching the primaries.

But I suppose stranger things have happened.

God bless.

Presumptive nominees with enthusiastic support don’t use major primaries by 40%, even one’s they don’t expect to win.
