Trishie~ I have kept you and your family in my prayers. I can’t believe I haven’t seen a prayer thread for your granddaughter until now… In fact, I can’t recall seeing one for a long time… It must be the time of day/ night. … Your granddaughter, her parents and you are in my prayers. Praying her pain is greatly eased and that she has a full recovery. 🙏

Lord, we lift Trishie’s granddaughter up in prayer today. Lord, our God, You sent Your Son into the world to bear our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. For Your servants who are sick, we ask that Your blessing will give them strength to overcome their weakness through the power of patience and the comfort of hope and that with Your aid they will soon be restored to health.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Dear Lord be her protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround her with the Holy Angels, so that she may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide her life journey, so she will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Please bless her each day with courage and with ease of her discomfort and pain.
Please bless her months of physio and recovery, and grant Hera safe and full life even though her sine is extensively fused.
Please bless her continuing studies, and preserve her gentle kind heart and strong spirit.

O Jesus, Good Shepherd, You heal the sick and needy. We give you all those parts of Trishe’s grandaughter’s body which have suffered from illness.

You know what it is like to endure pain. Look kindly on her today and heal her.
Restore her to strength of soul and body.

Give Your gift of wisdom to her physician that he or she may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all they do. Bless her nurses so that their hands will become Your hands as they touch her. Bless, too, her grandaughter’s medication. O Jesus, grant us all Your healing grace of love and peace.

My son sent two photos and despite everything, my granddaughter looks radiant, feeling surrounded by love, with her parents at her side.

Thank You for her wonderful nature, Lord, and for successful surgery.
Thank you that my granddaughter’s family is so loving.
Please aid her recovery and bless her life and her family’s lives

I hope to fly down in a couple of weeks with my eldest son

Making a small pilgrimage to a shrine in Missouri with a group from church today. Will offer prayers for your granddaughter.

I feel overwhelmed by your kindness in continuing to pray.
I don’t expect things, as every kind thing anyone does is a free gift, and that you have given, and some continued to give several times … I can only ask God to thank you in His own way. You are darlings.

Jesus thank You for each day that takes my granddaughter from surgery day. I know that the love she is surrounded with gives healing and that she will recover more surely because she is so loved

Please bless everyone who is ill or has injuries or surgeries but without love and support from others, those who feel unloved and neglected. Please embrace them in Your heart.

She’s having disturbed sleep and is still nauseous, and still unable to tolerate solid foods as of day 3-4, but her system is still in shock after such extensive surgery. She’s always been slender, so hopefully she can eat soon.
God bless her and her parents.
 
Praying for the nausea to go away and that she will have an appetite and be able to hold food down. Praying her pain minimizes.

I post this prayer often- it is my favorite~

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch,
or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.

Lord please help my granddaughter through the pain and discomfort she is going though. Please bless her with recovery from nausea, and with the ability to eat food again.
Please help her to recover from her painful radical surgery, and to live a healthy life.please comfort her parents as they sit by her.
