What we need are authentic pro-life decision makers. Not ones who say, “I’m personally opposed to abortion, but I don’t want to push my morality on anyone.” Incidentally, Marie5890, most of those fraudulent pro-lifers have the Democrat label. Most of those who are authentically pro-life have the Republican label. There is no getting around it. So I guess I disagree with you: what we need are Democrats who are authentic disiples of Christ and Republicans who are authentic disciples of Christ. There was a time when there was a consensus and both Reps and Dems agreed on the basics of decency and morality. Unfortunately, the Democrat party has become secular and morally relativistic. The Republicans, for their part, often lack moral courage and so the secular left generally gets its way.

Thanks,that cleared up my confusion re your comments,also,I happen to agree with the views stated in the Vortex commentary.I personally,have never been fan of the song Amazing Grace.However,The song being sung by the pro choice crowd,isn’t the issue,I don’t think it would have mattered what song was being sung,it was the message that was being presented that was the cause for the chants by the pro abortion protesters. Also,Catholics being outraged by the chants were not in defense of the song,but in defense of the pro life message.
 
Unfortunately, these people do not believe in Holy God. Our faith and its values are just cartoons to many of them. They just acting out to poke a finger in our eye.

What is striking, is their facial expressions. Horrific! How dark their lives must be.

I understand that. I guess my point was that one doesn’t become or assumed pro-life just because his group sings “Amazing Grace.” Personally I don’t even see a remote connection. The Satan chant I do understand to be anti-Christian though.
 
Singing Amazing Grace would seem to indicate to me they are at least searching for truth… Which of course is far better than what their antagonists were doing.

The world in general seems increasingly willing to mock the religious, whether it be Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs or any other religious group for that matter. Doesn’t matter what religion you are, if you believe in and worship God, you’re a target.

To me this is the crux of this particular incident.A pro life group gathered in support of a law being passed to limit abortion to no later than twenty weeks.The speaker was being drowned out by The pro abort crowd ,who were there in objection to any limitations on abortion.The many signs they were touting were evident of that. I found it deeply disturbing that women were carrying sign proclaiming abortion on demand no apologies.Or the children with sandwich boards containing an insinuation of foul language.Hailing Satan,while being shrugged off as mere taunting is a serious case of denial in my opinion.I believe it is reflective of how the pro abort crowd has I deed sold out to the e il one!

As sad is it sounds, It’s becoming harder and harder to actually be offended by anything they do. Growing callouses I guess.

I understand .Yet something about this latest stunt was at least, to me a new watermark,so to speak,in terms of how strident the pro aborts are about their cause.It really hurts to see this kind of embracing of the evil of abortion.It’s as though the pro abort side has become passionately irrational about a woman’s right to choose,they have completely lost sight of what is really happening.To them abortion is no longer about women just in crises pregnancies,which was the reason for legalizationIn the first place.Abortion has evolved into a form of contraception to be used at will.:(😦

Perhaps she should be given her expression. On a serious note, I am opposed to such outbursts, demonic or otherwise, on either side of the issue. It certainly does little to help the cause of the pro-choice movement.

IAmAKaur, I have several Sikh friends but have never discussed this with them. Does Sikhism have a teaching about abortion?
