Group threatens al Qaeda attacks on Rome

I posted this on one of the threads in the Islam forum yesterday. So far, none of them has responded.
Hashi, crying that Muslims are the victims isn’t going to cut it. Facts are facts. There are obviously more than a “handful” of Muslim terrorists. There are also more than a handful of clerics inciting the faithful to violence. Now, if Islam is truly a religion of peace, it behooves all of you to purge this cancer of terrorism from your midst. If things continue the way they have been going for the last thirty or so years, at some point there will be a retaliation that will make the crusades look like kindergarten. It will no longer be Christians against Muslims, but the rest of the world against Muslims - Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and even athiests. You, collectively, have allowed this sickness to fester and grow. You, again collectively, know who the terrorists are, and you are the ones who must identify them and help wipe them out. If you don’t, the rest of the world, as a matter of survival, is going to paint with a broad brush and the result isn’t going to be pretty. So, please, quit playing the victim and put some action behind your words so that this planet may be spared the bloodshed which is sure to come if you don’t.

IF the whole world is up against this ‘small’ group, would this be ‘a Just’ war’?
After reading these posts, two things are going through me: Fear And Anger.
Yet, we should pray that Cool Heads prevail, but I do believe We need to protect ourselves In The Name Of Christ. This would have to be Our Only Motive! Protect His Church and be martyrs IF necessary!

Edwin: No fear here. No anger either until I heard of the non-response of the people who are supposed to be our leaders in Canada. Click here. Now I am fit to be tied.

On the basis of these statements from our supposed ‘leaders’ I hope Bush cleans up on Canada and closes the border. That boycott we were talking about on another thread: what are you waiting for?
 
I agree, geezerbob. It is definitely up to the so-called moderate Islamists to identify the terrorists and the terrorism-preaching clerics. Their argument that the the terrorists are a minority is unproveable as long as they cower before them and don’t renounce them. Yes, it would be dangerous, but are these Muslims less courageous than the Iraqi women who voted in the Iraqi elections and then proudly waved their purple fingers in the terrorists faces?

Apparently. Instead of preaching that we realize it is only the radicals, we should hold all Muslims suspect, including non-Arab converts, set a deadline for them to turn in the terrorist factions, then deport all who do not comply to Saudi Arabia and the other terrorist-supporting nations.

It is easy to see what is right and just, but I fear that our world is so clouded by sin that the right thing will never be done. I fear that the Muslim terrorists are the West’s barbarian hordes. The Founding Fathers all knew that our democratic republic could only endure as long as our populace was educated and virtuous…

We DO know how the war will end; it has already been won, but we had nothing to do with the victory. It is ours by grace alone. Will we now correspond to that grace and do the right thing?

As I recall, two significant battles to save Europe from Islam were waged in October: Tours, 732 Oct 10 and Lepanto Oct 7 1571.
The Pope had told Christians to pray the rosay for Christian success against the Muslims. Our Lady of Victories was celebrated on October 7th. It is now the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. You can read the whole story here:

The rosary is a powerful weapon. Our Lady asked for it at Fatima, and it helped bring down the Soviet Union. Praying it for the success of the church against Islam is a good thing, with solid precedent.
 
First, I hope the Holy Father has very good security.

Second, the Muslim world can do one huge thing: issue fatwas.
If the vast majority of Imams are against terrorism, then they should all issue a fatwa calling for the death and disassociation of Bin Laden, Zarqawi, et.al.

Now that would go a long way to showing the world how committed they are to stop these terrorists.
