Perhaps, there having been decades of terrorism in Europe, we’ve learned to tell the difference between what some crank says and the real thing.
I didn’t say it was exactly the same. However, these “cranks” have carried out their threats before. You act like it is nothing, but oddly enough I’ll view political leaders who make such comments as real threats, not scary bedtime stories.

My goodness, that comment must be so, so, terribly biting and wounding - except that, directed at a European, its effect is rather wasted, I’m afraid.
That’s right, every Irish man and woman in every pub, singing patriotic songs should have been quoted, especially at the end of the night.

He is your average Hamas MP I think. Unless I am very wrong and you can post links to Hamas MPs saying they want open boarders and free trade with the state of Israel and diplomatic relations with Rome?
You inferred it by claiming that the quoting of it in the American press was part of some grand scheme to scare the people. If that is true, then certainly you would not want your own press to quote him, no? Or, perhaps I misunderstood you…are you envious of our press? Are you taking your own press to task for not scaring people enough?

I was unaware that rural Georgia was in Europe. I guess I’ll have to study some more Geography.
