I have taken a class specific in Canon Law in an academic setting. However I am NOT a canon Lawyer. Neither are you. Cetainly you understand that the Canon of trent is not abrogated by current Law do you? I am getting the impression that you have struggled greatly with Catholicism. Perhaps you have even left the faith. And for some reason somthing is under you skin to come to this forum and attempt (using the word attempt loosely) to stir the pot. I guess the real question is what is it that is causing you to come here and antagonize? Could it be a nagging conscience?. Remember when being a mason was cause for excommunication? not so in the revision.
My priest and confessor is a canon lawyer. I am going to print your posts here and let him take a look at your “logic” and interpretation of “canon” law. It will make his day to exercise his canon lawyerness.
