Happy ecstatic day with 100 year anniversary of Fatima and Our Lady of the Rosary

Very Happy that this thread was reopened!

Enjoying the thought of @MrZoom’s full name - Ed Zoom! Vrooom…

Still on a spiritual high after my Lay Carmelite retreat this past weekend.

Zoom is a nickname … because I go fast in my ♿

Looking forward to a 5K race in Pittsburgh a week from tomorrow! (I need to get a training run in sometime this weekend … )

I’ve been trying to strike cuttings from a certain bush with not a lot of luck, but realised yesterday for the first time in 16 years there are seedlings growing where birds have been and I’m going to dig them up to pot 🙂 🌱

We have some huge acorns - one fell and cracked the windshield of my wife’s car, I’ve almost sprained my ankle on them in the drive! I wish the gray guys good luck in getting as many stowed away as possible!

Going crazy, for a squirrel, is a very fluid concept! I’ve seen them lose a fight…with a stick they thought was a snake!

…and the good news is…well maybe there isn’t anything yet!
I hope the day improves.

Hope your ankle gets better soon,
and that the cracked windscreen isn’t too inconvenient and expensive to replace.

Good for you! I have a brother-in-law who would be happy to race you!

New saint medals! Came in the mail today. My birthday present to myself.

My biggest and only worry today was I was giving my students too many lollipops!

And all of them said ‘thank you’ Mr C after they got one!

Finding safe haven in the storm… Every day the place where I live now even with no electricity… safe haven after the last terrible months… seeing a seal or two following the boat …suddenly a head appears! Friendly kind folk in shops in this part of Ireland. visiting places I loved when I was first here 16 years ago and finding the beauty still full… My cats who love it here and creep under the blankets to be soft purring hot water bottles… Simple food, simple life, uncluttered.
