Welcome to the new platform of CAF.

If you need any help finding your way around, just ask and I’m sure that any one of us can help out! 🙂

Raced in a 5K in Pittsburgh today. Improved on last year’s time by 3 minutes. (Granted it was a different course than last year…)

🐝🐝🌻🌻🌺🌷
Bees swarming into my kitchen wall!🙂 I guess they will have to be removed at some stage,
but they sound lovely!

God let me set a new record of consecutive days waking up alive!

Yellow tailed Black cockatoos visiting from the mountains, sometimes a sign of rain 🙂
A thunderstorm would be amazing for the crops
Their call is kind of haunting in a nice way

I started it as a joke several years ago when some sports besotten friends where bragging about their records - me, being an intramural jock, chimed in, " Well, I just set a personal best this morning… consecutive number of days in a row waking up alive!" Got a laugh at least! Anything more cerebral than that would be lost in them!

Whoop, whoop, whoop !🙂 It’s raining 👩‍🌾😃🌻🌺🌹 that means an extended Spring where I live, lush garden and crops filling out thanks be to God.

The pews were very nearly completely full at student mass tonight. This is something I pray for, so it made me happy. Attendance numbers have been moving upwards by this measure. Church has not been this full in a long time. Many of you may be aware that large numbers of university students quit the church after leaving home. (I attend the university parish.) Some people were sitting in the narthex just outside the main church space so that was also a good sign.

always a wise man in the bunch…wait, that’s a different story.

Small mercies - our new call center boss seems to have grasped that there is in fact a night shift, and that we get grumpy when we get the leftover goodies.

I was pleasantly surprised with how many butts were in seats at the 7 p.m. Mass for All Saints on Wednesday at my parish. I honestly expected a lot less.

Seeing the sheer and utter joy of my wee dog when she set out down the path to the shore. I stood and laughed. Blessed in having space to run her now.
