However, I can see from the above comments that you obviously have an agenda to discredit the U.S. military.
An ad hominem argument.
The USA launched an unprovoked attack on Libya. And people here say it is not a war. This of course is ridiculous. Bombs are being dropped, civilians are being killed, buildings are being destroyed. What is it except for war?
All of this money being spent to wage undeclared wars. If you really wanted to stop the gravy train, you would be in favor of dropping support for the military industrial complex as per the warning given by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. But you are not in favor of stopping the gravy train for the military industrial complex.

Aside from abortion, PP does have services which directly and indirectly save lives and is for the betterment of all mankind. Do you have an idea what PP offers aside from abortion?
Sounds like a defense for a doctor who likes to occasionally kill his patients.

Nothing that an organization that doesn’t kill babies could offer. That would be actual health care instead of the slaughter of abortion that is deemed “health care” by some.
You and I will have to agree to disagree. 🙂

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but it doesn’t mean your right…

I stand by my position on this topic and will support continued funding for PP excluding taxpayer funded abortions. 🙂

As if that makes any difference. At least he’s not the one on here trying to defend a nationwide network of infant slaughterhouses. 🤷
Flare, your entitled to your viewpoint as I’ve said to others. You and I will have to agree to disagree. 🤷:coffee:🍕

Even if they can afford more abortions because of the $$$ Uncle Sam gives them?
No. My position has not changed; I’m opposed to funding abortions with federal dollars; all other funding i’m in favor of. All the government has to do is regulate how the money can be spent.

Then it seems you didn’t understand my example and how fungible dollars can be.

Would you accept government funding of the KKK as long as they didn’t use their government funding to promote their racist views as long as they dud other community projects?

So if there was a neo-nazi organization that, in addition to working to spread its racist views around, also ran health clinics, you would be for federal funding of them? As long as they didn’t use the federal money for their racist campaigns?

An ad hominem argument.
I was responding to your question: "Have Americans been killing innocent people for sport in Vietnam, in Iraq and in Afghanistan? I concluded that you were, in posing that question trying to discredit the U.S. military. If you think Americans have been killing people for sport, then I can only conclude that its impossible to have a rational conversation with you. Your question doesn’t deserve a response.
The USA launched an unprovoked attack on Libya. And people here say it is not a war. This of course is ridiculous. Bombs are being dropped, civilians are being killed, buildings are being destroyed. What is it except for war? .
Your facts are wrong. The USA didn’t launch an unprovoked attack on Libya. Under the leadership of France and Britain, the UN passed resolution 1973 instituting a no-fly zone over Libya to help keep Ghadafi from slaughtering civilians in his own country. The U.S. and other countries have provided aid and support for this effort. Look, I am happy to have a serious discussion on this issue, but until you quit stating falsehoods and cut down the mindless hyperbole and sloganeering, adios.

Even Newt Gingrich says that Obama painted the United States into a corner with his decision to authorize air strikes to establish a no-fly zone and dismantle Moammar Gaddhafi’s air defenses. According to Gingrich, Obama is relying on a standard of “humanitarian intervention,” a policy he said would have justified American military engagement in countries like Sudan, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Yemen and Bahrain.
Basically you are going against the undeclared Republican candidate for president, Newt Gingrich, if you deny this.
Libya did not attack the USA, and there is no basis for declaring war on Libya. How many other Ghadafis are there in the world today? Is the USA supposed to bomb every country which has a dictator? I don’t think it is right. People are dying and being killed by these bomb strikes. And how many have landed in the hospital.
The only thing you have in your favor is an ad hominem attack. But it does not respond to the question as to who will answer to the families of these dead people killed by USA bombs.

Still in error. It should have been. "I, a serious, practicing Catholic woman, am ashamed of Pelosi, Biden, Kerry, Sebelius, and the Kennedys. 🙂
That’s horrible grammar…

If you wanted to speak for just yourself you would say something like: “As a serious, practicing Catholic I am ashamed of Pelosi, Biden, Kerry, Sebelius, and the Kennedys.”

Then it seems you didn’t understand my example and how fungible dollars can be.

Its not relevant since the KKK historically has not provided anything to the public other then racial bigotry. The same goes for the neo-nazi’s. Both you and ishii will have to come up with better examples that are relevant to the topic at hand.

You should make this part of your comedy routine. You’ll kill’em!😃

Hypothetical examples demonstrate principles. If the principle is sound, it applies even to hypotheticals. Your refusal to address the principle involved only points to your selective thinking.

Don’t you know only liberals are allowed to introduce race to an argument to make an analogy? They invented it, they use it often and they take offense when a conservative uses it. Basically, they no like you using it!😃

Extremely relevant since PP was historically created to perform abortions for minorities.

Ishii
Actually PP is a neo-nazi racist organization that has not only found an efficient way to eliminate undersirables but even found a way to have the Govt pay them to do it.
