Frankly, your opinion on how to label groups of Catholics means
nothing. You might as well do as Chris Ferrara and divide everyone here into two camps: the righteous and courageous traditionalists, saviors of the Church and the world; versus the villainous and heretical neo-Catholics, who are conspiring together with liberals, modernists, and Freemasons to prevent the traditionalists from having their precious Latin Mass!
But enough humor. It would help if you could actually define the three terms you suggested instead of just applying them arbitrarily. Then we could see if they are applicable to the current situation and we could see who falls into what category. Don’t you agree that’s a better strategy than plain labelling?
Are they indeed? And out of curiosity, who are they? Are they the Catholics who have risen to the occasion to defend the Second Vatican Council, the Ordinary Form of the Roman Missal, and the Holy Father himself? Who are the liberals, and why?
:bigyikes:
Wow. Assuming you identify yourself with “the average traditionalist”, your separateness from the Church is manifested in every word.
Tell me, whose definition should we follow?
